Our party of 6 showed up on-time for our 8:30pm reservation. They told us the table was being set. They proceeded to seat another party of 6 who showed up after us. We then Waited another 25 minutes for another table. To be fair they comped a few beers for us while we waited. We were then seated and ordered.... More

Reading the menu was the best part of our evening at Bergamot. It read like an adventure and sounded promising! But not all experimentation is justified and in the end it just becomes pretentious. Beef Carpaccio with Blue Cheese had too much Blue Cheese--the poor delicate beef was completely overpowered. The Skate Wing description was wonderful (Seared Skate Wing with... More

The atmosphere was great, and everything on the menu sounded delicious too. The appetizers were great, however it went downhill with the entrees. The BBQ chicken was too smoky and dry, and there was so little "Alabama White BBQ Dip" that I couldn't even taste it. The service was fine, although they brought the coffee at least 10 minutes after... More

“What a fantastic evening and meal!!!” Reviewed 1 week ago via mobile First let me say how wonderful and professional the whole staff were. That alone would make me want to return. When you add how wonderful the food was it is an automatic place to come back to. Matt our waiter and sommelier was amazing. He was patient explaining... More

I had the best fiddlehead ferns of my life here. The other food was excellent especially the rhubarb dessert. The scallop appetizer was just one scallop, but it was very good. The chicken main course had an excellent thigh. The drinks were fine: nothing stellar, nothing to complain about. The service was good.

I had heard great things about this restaurant and wasn't disappointed. Everything was top notch from the get go although our server did not know as much about the wines as I would have expected from such an extensive and expensive wine list. He did call another colleague over to advise us. The advice was so good and so lovingly... More

It was somewhat telling that we were able to get a last minute reservation on Marathon Weekend. Yet it was busy and the service was pleasant and attentive. Unfortunately the meal was a big disappointment. We had come from an earlier reception, so we were not overly hungry. The featured 12 oz. rib steak was on the menu for $50.... More

KW and I arrived to find our preferred bar seating to be full. We sat on the sofa in the entrance, had a cocktail and waited. In waiting we were able to observe the well oiled machine this restaurant is in efficiently tending to their guests. We started with the beet salad and the pate, followed by the sea bream.... More

We went for the 7 course tasting menu (which turned into 10 with the extra goodies provided by the kitchen). Fresh, innovative and delicious!

The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the chef's tasting menu. Seven courses (and 3 extras!), each a different juxtaposition of various flavors, textures and colors, all intensely satisfying. The staff were informed, attentive, and delightfully entertaining. Our group had several food intolerances, the staff were very careful to ask about, and explore these with us, and the chef worked around... More
