Horrible experience at Claudette's! After I gave the young lady at the register my order, at least three times, she overcharged me $15.42 instead of $11.42. Then they let me wait outside an inordinate amount of time. Everyone else had ordered and left already by...the time I received my food. There were no utensils included. When I asked for some, I was asked, "What kind?" Lastly, when I took my food out of the bag I saw that my order had been totally botched. The breakfast menu is extremely limited and I ask myself how she would survive if she had to deal with a menu as varied as at Denny's orChick-Fil-A. I told them I would never come back.More

Cute, small roadside sandwich shop. You will get a good sandwich at a fair price, and a little outside roadside table. No restroom - have to walk to the public restroom a block away.

We came on a fairly busy day and it seemed like the fellow at the counter was working alone. He was super friendly and had the food out in a decent amount of time. We shared a turkey sandwich and it was big and super...tasty. Nice little patio outside with umbrellas or you can walk down to the beach with your food. Super cute little place!More

Atmosphere and cuteness are off the charts, but the sandwiches were just ok. Turkey, roast beef and ham were deli meat. The place closed at 2:30 the day we visited and at 1:30, they were out of seafood salad and turkey salad. So my turkey...Sammie was about what I make at home.More

The turkey sandwich was VERY good, and the chocolate chip cookie was amazing! I understand the lemon pound cake is famous, but didn't think it had much flavor. Note there's often a line (when it's open) and they only take cash.

It’s easy to see why people line up for the sandwiches here. The tasty seafood salad sandwich had juicy chunks of lobster and whole shrimp on whole wheat bread. They keep the line moving and bring the sandwich to your table, if you are lucky...enough to find a seat. Many customers left with bags of takeout to enjoy elsewhere. A reasonably priced lunch stop on an otherwise pricey island. Would love to go back to try the veggie sandwich!More

I have been here a few times before. It’s a great little shop with the best sandwiches around! It’s perched right above the entrance to sconset beach . The prices are great and there is limited seating but, people are really good about eating and...moving on!More

Cute little cash only spot with some good sandwiches. Nothing fancy or out of the ordinary on the menu (ham, turkey, meatlof, etc) and a little patio to eat outside. Very fast paced and super fast service. The sandwiches are loaded with whatever you order...so they def don't skimp on the fillings. The house sauce is yummy and the price is average for Nantucket. Younger workers are sweet when they bring you food, but the owner (?) behind the counter is all business. No big deal though, I didn't go to date him, I went to eat. My little daughter did however ask him something and he was very kind to her. I think the fast pace and huge crowds make it seem impersonal but the sandwiches make up for it. A "have to try it" stop in Sconset if you're in the area.More

I look forward to getting this veggie sandwich every summer. A little pricey, but the sandwiches are pretty big, and always delicious. Plus, the staff is always super friendly. This cute little shop is perfect to grab a quick bite before heading to the beach.

Friendly and efficient. Take a seat on the bustling patio or grab your sandwich, chips and iced tea to go and head to the beach!
