I would like to know who else used to go in daily, never skipping a day, getting the same amount drinks, shots beers, etc and the same meal, all through out covid even, while staying at the hotel across the way while their home had...extensive work done to it for months at a time? Most people can understand having a home away from home, a place to get away to and compose themselves, to breathe, to feel better or safe at. I am only writing this because wrongly and stupidly so I made mc Morgan’s my home away from home. For the past few months I have enjoyed coming there, I have always enjoyed the sports bar scene, drinks, a crowd and burgers . I’m sure most people can relate! Well tonight months on months later they refused my usual, and even tried to jack the price up on me by double the cost!!! As if they don’t make enough off the drinks! As if I don’t have something they consider my usual! I’m not sure what’s going on, wether money is tight or the business is slow, or they do this as some type of marketing scam but I grew up where u give support to ur local mom and pop establishment the business, and they take care of you..! Because they understood business and the fact anyone can sling a burger some fries a beer even a shot. I guess mcmorgans became to full of themselves to take care of me and my money wasn’t green enough @ $80,$90+ a night.... it’s unfortunate but be it as it may like said they’re not the only place that can cook burgers fries and serve drinks, don’t get caught up like I did. There are lists of places in the area that will treat you nicely, with respect , and serve a good drink with no bull. I am a foodie, I know all the sites and tons of people. I will be posting this and much more on each food platform I can. I have never been so disrespected by employees at an establishment I not only come to EVERY day but at a place I considered myself more than a patron but apart of the fam. If you would like to reach out based off of my feedback, cellphone #617-483-0512More

WE enjoyed our meal and the service was great. The portions are too large so everyone gets a to go box ! Go with a hungry appetite and/or share a entree. The hostesses were rude The server was fantastic Meals were good.

The atmosphere was great. The food was ok nothing absolutely crazy amazing but it was good. We shared an appetizer and then ordered our meals. Waitress was great. Based on pricing I'm not sure we would be back but maybe it was an off night

Always good food and excellent service. I held a number of 12 - 15 person luncheons there and there was never anything negative: food, service or accommodations.

Great english/Irish pub. Pub food at it's best. Great selection of craft beer and enough TVs to satisfy sports fans

On our way to the Patriots game we saw this place and took note. The next day we came back to tour the HoF and stopped here for supper. Relaxing atmosphere. Nice selection of Draught beer. We basically ordered from the appetizer menu, and boy...am I glad we did. The portion sizes were insane. I ordered the combo and could not near finish it. We ordered the nachos and they were incredible. We took 50% back to hotel and three ate the next day. I would definitely come back here. Great bar. TVs with sports showing. Service was good. Prices very reasonable. I enjoyed it.More

The female working the bar didn’t know anything about the beer she was pouring. That’s a fail. Taste the beer - and if you’re not a drinker, at least read a line or two about it. This never happens at Tommy Doyle’s in Newton... It...would have been ok that she was clueless if she didn’t have a bad attitude and work only the side of the bar the old townies were gathered around. Disinterested manager walked around doing nothing, and looked aggravated when someone stopped him to ask a question. Ordered a salad and burger. Sad excuse for a salad. Wilted greens. Not edible. Not going back. It’s too easy to drive a little south and find good beer, service, and food at Gillette.More

Lunch menu was full of options, and everyone in our group was happy with their choice. They were preparing for a big crowd that evening, so room was a bit noisy

Questions & Answers
Ask a question
Third time I have asked the same question, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! First, I send an e-mail, after any days, no response, no surprise there, my third question, I called and the gentleman who answered did not show any concern or care for my inquiry, due to illness I am on a low fat diet, I asked if they provided their customers with low fat options, he said NO! Most restaurants who want to please their customers would offer that service for customers, all restaurants have signs posted to let them know if you have allergies to let them know, mine would be fat, instead he offered me a SALAD, not driving over an hour to go out with friends for an overpriced salad, what a shame to have the gentleman answering the phone to have an attitude, I did ask to speak to the chef/cook, but not allowed, if your restaurant cannot help me, I am sure it cannot he others with food restrictions! Let me see if after my 5th question if someone responds!

This is more of a bar then a restaurant. The food was good. I had the curry chicken which is all chicken and vegtables. If you don't mind the heat of the spice that would be a good low fat option. My husband had the fish... More
