Beautiful old church setting

This is a special event dining place. Food is very good and service is as well. Somewhat pricey , but worth it!

This restaurant is in a converted church and what a great setting. The meal was excellent but the service was not above par. The waitress did not come back and check to see if we needed anything, but did appear to look over at our table to see how we were doing. Not sure if I would spend the money... More

We visited on a raw late-morning. The converted church is is perfect shape, and the interiors is well laid out. The Make your own Bloody Mary Bar was up on what used to be the Alter. The staff are extremely helpful, wether or not they are your actual server. The food (I had Eggs benedict) was perfectly cooked, and the... More

The only reason I am giving this resturaunt two stars is because of the beautiful of the building as this was original Corpus Christi Church. That being said we had bad service as the were short staffed. I ordered a hamburger medium well and it came out rare with blood all over the plate. I was mortified and I couldn'... More

How cool to have dinner in an old church! You can still see so much from when it was a church. The stained glass windows are beautiful. The hostess was pleasant when we entered. She offered to take our coats and then took us to our seats. There was a fire going and the ambience was very nice. My friend... More

We love this place. Excellent wine dinners, delicious and creative holiday meals, a lovely restaurant and excellent service. Great outdoor patio. The inn has beautiful rooms. The owners have excellent taste. Just a wonderful experience every time we go. A well known favorite for many years with both locals and tourists. A real gem!

The food was outstanding. Not that I was looking, but I could not find one fault with the dishes my husband and I received. We were tucked in a corner by the piano player. Service was a little slower than what we are used to. We chalked this up to being in the corner - out of sight out of... More

We went as a group. Food was decent, we all ordered light food so not sure about main entrees.. Service a little slow due to early lunch dining. Interesting history and possible tour of the historic Inn if there not too busy. We had separate checks and lingered for a while to relax and talk.

We got there early for the prix fixe offering and were not disappointed: Chatham mussels, cedar plank salmon, and molten lava cake. The service was outstanding and very solicitous. This was our farewell to the Cape dinner and I was very pleased with our choice. I would be back there in a heartbeat.

Well, for one thing, on my first date with my now fiance (3 years ago) we didn't want to end our evening after dinner at another restaurant so we headed to the lovely bar a the Belfry...we closed the place down with a sweet kiss, and the rest is history. Except for the fact that we still regularly visit the... More
