Great location, but the food was very disappointing. One of our party had lobster ravioli, he said it was tasteless. Mussels not only tasteless, not very many of them for the price. I had anacini balls for app those were better. The view was spectacular,...except for the harbor boats now littered with Trump signs. Good forever to get the food. I would take Michaels Harborside ( same on the water or go back to the Black Cow now up the street, not boing back there!More

Had a memorable experience here during a get-together with family. I hate to dine out with such a large group (we had 9 or 10), but the staff nailed it. We started off ordering separate appetizers, but we ended up sharing everything. On a Labor...Day weekend Saturday during dinner rush, all of the 12 apps were on our table within about 6-8 minutes, with the pizzas last but not least. Incredible considering we pretty much got one of everything. Our server was amazingly cool and collected, brought the perfect amount of plates and cleared the empties skillfully as we plundered. I Bogarted the shrimp cocktail and calamari (with banana peppers!)- very good. I had ordered a hefeweizen, and the bar manager Kevin stopped by to ask how I liked it. We had a great conversation about some brews and his knowledge was impressive. I wish I would have had more time to try some of their other drafts. I will next time for sure. Dinner was served promptly and accurately, and I was a little leary of trying the veal française- as I always am in an unfamiliar place- but I ordered it on a hunch. It was- bar none- the best I have ever had. The balance between the cream vs. citrus, and the tenderness of the veal, properly spiced and perfectly browned, was the culinary highlight of my week back home. As a whole, everyone in our party really enjoyed everything we ordered. Not just was the food excellent (at very reasonable prices for Mass.), it felt as though the entire staff worked just for us that night, even though it was a full crowd. Great place!!More

My wife and I went to Off The Vine for dinner following encouraging comments from a friend. However, we should have know an fundamental issue was lurking below the surface, when our friends could not recommend an entree or any menu category. We gave Off...The Vine a fair try and found the menu unremarkable. Simply not a positive, interesting, much less intriguing set of choices. Service and cleanliness were fine, not distinctive. Pricing was definitely high for meal offerings. Now, we have driven by restaurant many times since our visit. Neither of us are interested in giving Off the Vine a second visit. Why? No second visit chance is justified.More

Ate here a couple of years ago and enjoyed it so were looking forward to a return visit. It was certainly busy on a Friday night. We settled on our choices and ordered fairly quickly. Drinks were prompt but appetisers were pretty slow to appear....I enjoyed my pork dumplings but nobody else finished theirs. The waitress brought the entrees without clearing the table and looked totally lost for where to put them down so I piled the used dishes and she just left me holding them after putting down the fresh plates. None of us finished our main meals or particularly enjoyed them. There are way too many better places to eat to bother driving out here again.More

Highly recommend the Kobe beef burger and the pear, prosciutto and arugula pizza - both were delicious. Our group ranged from age 16 to 75 and everyone loved their meal. We will definitely be back!

Probably a good place to conduct a business meeting, not at all a family place. We have tried this place on a few occasions and usually leave disappointed and still hungry. The food isnt bad, its just not what you'd expect for the price If...you have a tiny appetite and lots of extra cash to burn, this place is for youMore

Unexpected treat on a busy highway. Good wine and beer menu, many beers on tap. My son started with the pork dumplings. Different but good crust from Chinese dumplings. Both my wife and I had the baked brie. Very unusual with a kaluha and pecan...glaze, Excellent. My son had the veal parmigiana. He was impressed that while the veal was thicker than we cook with, it was very tender. My wife had the pan seared scallops. Nicely done with a side of risotto that was properly done (not mush). I had Fettucine Alfredo. Classic dish and done nicely. Could use a little more proscuitto. My son finished with the chocolate fudge brownie. Not much to add to this 'loc-cal' dessert. Good service. Only drawback is that the entire restaurant, including a very noisy bar, is in one large room. Very loud to the point of being difficult to talk to each other.More

I have been a fan of this restaurant since opening day. The flat bread pizza is the best in the area. Having recently moved to Florida I was so looking forward to celebrating my friends Birthday at Off The Vine during my visit .I booked...the small private room for the celebration in advance. After being seated we were told to move into the main dining room because a larger party with children and “older people “ needed the space. ( WE are older!) We moved as was requested but never was offered as much as a free glass of wine or a complimentary dessert for the birthday guest! In my opinion, this is BAD customer service! It was the first time my friends had been there. It was not a good first impression!!More
