Set in an antique Colonial home, this restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Their omelets are light and fluffy with a wide variety of ingredients to choose from. Pancakes are really good. I happen to be very fond of their buckwheat pancakes, hard to find at other restaurants. Daily specials are always available. Lobster eggs Benedict is a recommended splurge! Get... More

We ate here twice on our 5 day trip! The first time it was just 3 adults and 1 child. The 2nd time it was a much larger party...8 adults, 1 child. Both times, service was fast and nice. They even brought toys (the first time) and coloring books/crayons (the 2nd time) for my 20 month old son to play... More

Excellent food, fast service. Can't go wrong if you eat here. It's a casual atmosphere, with quaint (i.e. Aged) decor. Perfect for a nice comfortable gathering.

This is a must visit if you are visiting the North Shore the Ipswich/Rowley area. The Pancakes are a must have. The Omlette that I had was the fluffiest that I had ever had. How do they do it? The decor is quaint New England and the staff is super friendly and experienced. A very popular place on Weekend mornings... More

We all had breakfast. The wait was over 45 minutes. That was tough, because we, we're all starving! Haha. Food and atmosphere was good

I think this place is OK. I took my nephew there last year. It is historic and the décor reminds me of a place from the 70s. I ordered the pancakes. Maybe I had high expectations because it is called the Village Pancake House. the pancake very average the portions were average. Overall not impressed

Despite the full parking lot and long lines, the food is average. While lots of options, not sure if it's really worth the wait. Also annoying they don't take credit cards.

The food here is very good. But expect a lengthy wait on weekends and holidays. Free coffee whilst you wait though

Banana pancakes light and delicious! Sister got an omelet that had to have at least 3 very large eggs, onions, broccoli & cheese, Excellent !! Our waitress was an older woman and she was super nice and knew the menu very well! Side of bacon my sister got was enough for 2!! Cash only at this place !!

Thank Susan H
