Stopped in for a mid-week lunch. The view does look out to some unused docks and water but then there is a large protective wall you can't see over. We had calamari, the fish Rueben, and vegetarian burger. They were good, but just average. The...More
After waking twenty minutes for a 10 minute wait and seeing everyone that arrived after us being seated we went up to the host and he said he didn’t have us on his list. I repeated my name to him when he was supposedly adding...More
We recently spent the weekend up in Rockport. We were fortunte to find the Fish Shack.
Location and view are great. While we didn't eat we did have a cocktail or two.

It is casual and comfortable here. The quality of the food is fine dining though the atmosphere is strictly mid-range. If you don't care about atmosphere and just care about food quality, courteous and attentive service, and moderate prices, eat here. Because it's good, it...More

I'm not really sure. If you can eat steamed lobster or ask for the haddock prepared plain with some lemon juice. They always have a fresh vegetable and you can order salad as a second vegetable. I would think you could find something to eat there. I'm not really sure what is on your diet. Just don't order fried or anything with a cracker crust on top. All the fish is fresh and some are simply prepared. Hope this helps.
