Our lobster rolls, shrimp cocktail and clam chowder were so very good and the outdoor picnic table atmosphere made the experience perfect indeed!

Couldn't have found a place that was more authentic for 'picnic table' lobster. No sides to speak of but the lobsters were great.

We stopped at the Roy Moore Shack on Bearskin Neck in Rockport MA. There is a sit down restaurant a bit closer to main road as well. The Shack is a pay as you order lobster and shellfish shack. Steamed lobster, chowder, raw oysters, stuffed clams, lobster rolls. A few tables outside on the dock and no frills. Fresh and... More

This is the source of lobster for the Fish Shack-one of the steadiest outfits in town. But you can also get cooked lobster to eat on their own tiny deck out back. Better yet get a bunch cooked to go! Good fish, shrimp and othet seafood too! You can call agead to schedule a pickup and avoid the line.

Was looking for a dog-friendly restaurant and chose this after reading other's reviews. Did NOT disappoint in any way. Lovely water view in the seating area, staff friendly to our dog as well as my husband & me. Food - out of this world! We had clam chowder, oysters, and lobster rolls. The lobster rolls were so fresh & pure,... More

No frills, but good food reasonably priced. Very limited menu. Lobsters were good and the best price I've seen in the area. Good clam chowder. The oysters were best I've had in years. Only a few picnic tables in back. If this is what you want, don't be confused by the Roy Moore Restaurant a few blocks away. I went... More

Roger Berkowitz has nothing on Ken Porter at Roy Moore Lobster Co. Lobster doesn't get any fresher than warm right out of the shell, fresh out of the ocean. Great food with friendly service. And when I want to bring a fresh piece of fish home to cook, I have to look no further. All around a great experience.

We drove all the way from Boston and we were not disappointed. It is so refreshing with a place based on "what you see is what you get". We ordered 3 lobsters for $40 and that we got. The lobsters came with a fork, a napkin and buttersauce. SO DELICIOUS! And right by the water in a charming little house.... More

No frills just fresh cooked whole lobster. Three 1 1/2 pounders for $40. No utensils but pre-cracked for you. Picnic tables out back & a bathroom for hand washing after. They also have chowder, lobster rolls & smoked salmon. YUM
