My wife ordered the Grilled Chicken Breast and Fry's. The chicken was dry and the fry's overcooked and on the verge of burnt. I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese and while the flavor was great, there was not much lobster in the dish. We both had the carrots for a side and they were very irregularly cut and lacked... More

Been to Rockport many times and I've never tried this place. Took a chance on takeout as recommended by my family. I chose the haddock and scallops via The seafood casserole. From the first bite I was in love. Like the title says it was a flavor explosion and it tasted delicious. The scallops and haddock were out of this... More

We were there for dinner on a Saturday evening. Once we got past the disinterested hostess, the service was good. The dining room is average. I did appreciate the fact that there was fish on the menu which was not fried, when frying seemed to be a requirement in Rockport. There was also a decent wine and beer, also above... More

After a walk among local streets and a few short trails --- we were ready for lunch. Looking for a public restroom (following the signs) --- Ellen's was nearby. We went in for lunch and had the fish sandwich --- all three of us!!! And it was fresh, white flaky meat, oversized for the bun and just delicious. Plus we... More

Wonderful place to stop in for lunch after a day of shopping. We ordered a bowl of their famous clam chowder, fried clams, onion rings and what we thought was the special of the day for $12.99 baked haddock that ended up to be $23.99. When we ordered the lunch special haddock she asked us if we wanted it with... More

We were nicely surprised by this restaurant. Walking in, it looked small but we walked to the dining room with nice harbor views. The server made good recommendations and the food was excellent. Will return.

We enjoyed our meal and our view of the harbor at Rockport. The lobster Mac and cheese was delicious with a nice salad and potato salad. They have a decent selection of local / nearby beers and good wines. Our waitress was Claire. She had been there for 50+ years. You can even see her picture in a news paper... More

Excellent lobster roll for $17. Also great sweet potato fries-very light and without grease. Waitstaff very friendly.

We went to Ellen's because of other positive reviews on TripAdvisor (and the reviews of Rockport itself) even though it was no where near our destination We were not disappointed. The clam chowder was the best I had on this trip to New England. Chock full of clams and a healthy-sized serving! Lobster roll was sweet and fresh with just... More

We were just walking by and happened to notice the menu board outside glad we did, just before a rush of people thought the same thing. We were able to get seated right away no wait, I decided on the pulled pork with frys whilst my wife had the lobster. All we can say is the food was delicious the beers... More
