The food here was nothing to write home about. Not bad, but not great. Just average. It's a great location, with a great view from the rooftop deck, and they do make some very nice cocktails. But that's about all this place had going for it. We had probably the worst service at a restaurant I have ever had in... More

That's about it really. View from covered deck is just great, lovely evening views of the harbour mouth. Food was just about OK. Roll was pretty boring but steamers were so gritty and were pretty rubbery and the broth so grey and unappetising. Suggest a drink and eat elsewhere!

Pricey and a bit pretentious. They seemed shocked when we asked what came with the lobster roll or oyster sandwich other than the sandwich roll.

Great covered deck--excellent drinks (Big Ginger). Lobster Ravioli was stellar--we still talk about this meal to this day in remembering favorite vacation memories. A little pricey, but worth it.

Covered rooftop deck. 1.5 lobster is 23 dollars right now. Small bar area, but good cocktails. I don't think you'll find another place like it on Bearskin Neck. It's nice, but you don't have to be all fancy to come here. Wonderful waitstaff and great views.

Very surprised it wasn't more crowded...had EXcellent Tuna Crudo (with delicious toasted sesame oil & vinegar). French-style frites perfectly done. In a town full of VERY young, semi-experienced service staff, we had a very competent, knowledgeable, helpful, and local young server. Only one visit, so I can't swear the negative reviews are un-founded, but I will go back.

What had the ceviches, shrimp toast, and salmon lox. The ceviches was fresh but a little orangier than I'm used to. The shrimp toast had plenty of shrimp and lots of avocado. The lox were deemed very good by my husband. We also had the fries. A great way to replenish salt. Unfortunately no diet coke. :/

If you don't want to eat a lot or your not very hungry and you don't mind being ripped off this is the place for you. We had seared scallops... there were exactly four scallops on top pureed cauliflower with a few greens....all for the bargain price of$18.00. We would not waste our time going there again.

We had a very unfortunate experience here this evening. Our friends ordered the scallops with pureed cauliflower. The puree was cold, and the scallops under-cooked. Our hanger steak was tough and bad-tasting. The green salad w/shaved vegetables was too small to justify the $10 cost. Finally, the bread for which they charged us was over-priced Wonder Bread. Yuch! To the... More
