Good coffee. Decent pretzel rolls. Soft but not as soft s the Pennsylvania Dutch ones in Reading Terminal (Philadelphia). Not as good variety as the one on Western Avenue but it is conveniently located on the Reading train stop.

My lunch salad was interesting. Of the two choices of dressing, I chose the Italian, which seemed to consist of turmeric and curried vinegar/oil. It had a very 1950's flavor... But my Caprese sandwich was very filling and my dessert was so delicious that I took another home for later. The rhubarb custard tart was perfect in every way...and the... More

I was so relieved to see another review mention the owner, Thomas. What an arrogant man! I had bought a Berliner for my son, who took one bite and mentioned how oily it was. The owner heard him as we were sitting in the uncomfortably close seats inside the establishment, and he proceeded to give my son a speech about... More

Great Swiss bakery in the Reading, MA train station. Perfect for picking up a snack for the train ride or just stopping in for a treat. They offer a wide selection of baked goods along. Then shop is small, but offers a couple of booths & counter stools. The staff is friendly & courteous. Parking is available right in font... More

This little spot of Swiss Heaven is right at the Reading train station. A must visit for a ride into the city, but also a great place to pick up pastries for home or work. They offer a variety of unusual pastries and they are wonderful. The people are really nice as well and parking is easy

The atmosphere is always upbeat, cheerful staff and delicious food. We haven't had a bad thing yet. The pretzel products are great. Berliners delicious. Seeded Pajazzo bread is so authentic and Chocolate Weggli are a favorite! It is nice to have such a good bakery in town.

This is a good bakery, though the hours really only work if you're trying to catch a train in the morning because it is right at the train station. The croissants are very good - both the chocolate filled and the cinnamon. Though they are a little bit on the small side for $2.75 each. The Berliner is also really... More

Lovely little coffee shop at train station. Serves European pastries and sandwiches. Also soup. They have Berliners! Sort of a filled donut.
