This place has been around forever and it is still as good as ever. Great views across the beach and water, good friendly service, and of course great food. We had lots of lobster...lobster rolls, lobster taco, lobster newburg, lobster avocado cocktail, lobster chowder. Yes we had lots of lobster and we had a great time. This is always a... More
The owners of our bed-and-breakfast highly recommended the lobster pot as a place to eat in Provincetown. And we were not disappointed! The claim chowder was excellent, and deserving of all the awards it has received. We split a house salad (they provide four excellent homemade dressings) and shrimp scampi, and both were excellent. A selection of three breads were... More
We were visiting Provincetown since we hadn't been up there in about 7 years and we had to have lunch at the Lobster Pot since we had a great time the last time we were there. Initially they seated us downstairs and it was so busy I felt I really wanted to sit upstairs like we did last time. I... More
Had a wonderful meal. Lobster lived up to expectations. Service was good and food excellent! Lovely atmosphere and good selection of wines and beers. Highly recommend!
I was not disappointed in stopping by the Lobster Pot! We were seated upstairs and had a great view of the Harbor and Marina. I loved seeing the boats and the water. The clam chowder was perfect! Great stop for a refreshing drink and some "Chowda"!
We are on the Cape in May, and again in September.... and we always make at least 2 stops each time at the "Pot." Never had to wait, and always had a great meal. I am sorry (not) to say we have never experienced the Lobster clicker thing that they give you to notify when a table is ready (usually... More
There's a reason this is a P-Town institution and my Cape friend's favorite restaurant. Delicious, innovative food and great service. I tried the Asian Boullibaise this time and it was so huge and good that we took the wonderful broth & noodles home (there was lots!!) to recycle for another meal. It was loaded with seafood which I mostly gorged... More
really yummy drinks and good food. We had a great server, too. It wasn't cheap, tho! but it was also the one night we had both (adult) kids with us! haha
The restaurant is set on a pier overlooking the harbor with views to 3 sides. Very crowded during my visit, but service was still excellent as they are used to being very busy. My food, fried shredded clams were excellent-succulent and fried perfectly, crispy golden and not over cooked as this dish is sometimes served. Other patrons' dishes were beautifully... More
