Went here for lunch a few days ago. I highly recommend the chowder, it's excellent. We had hamburgers for lunch, perfectly done. Try the cape cod blonde ale, very good. We went back for dinner last night, had the Delmonico tuna steak, which was great....My wife had stuffed shrimp, also very good. Nice atmosphere, we sat on the back upper deck.More

Not as good as reviews proclaim and prices are ridiculous for the quality. This lobster SALAD roll was $34. Hardly any decent lobster in it. Most of it was a “salad”. My husband had a baked cod dish with some sort of newburg sauce over...it. Ok- not great. We paid $112 for lunch, including tip. First and last visit.More

This is a highly rated resto, beloved by locals and travelers alike. We were looking forward to lunch. We had drinks while checking the menu. My wife had a pomegranate Margarita which she liked. I had a local, draft amber ale that was excellent; so...was the service. I started with a mug of clam chowder. While "marvelous" is not an understatement, it's close to it. The chowder was that good. My wife started with raw scallops in a soy/jalapeno/Mandarin orange sauce. She took her first bite and spit it out. "This is awful," she said. Thinking that the dish actually was good but not to her liking, I took a bite. It was absolutely foul. For the main, I had a tuna sashimi, with four or five pieces of tuna sliced wafer thin. It was okay; hardly something to write home about. My wife had a seafood cobb salad that she said was good, but she still only picked at it, still regretting the taste of the scallop. So the much-anticipated lunch was a bummer. You can't win them all.More

My wife and I were visiting Provincetown last week and upon a recommendation, we had dinner at the Lobster Pot on Wednesday. We were warmly greeted by Shawn who provided his recommendations for dinner. Going with his suggestions, I had the blackened halibut with mango...butter and garlic mash potatoes. Kathy had the pan seared scallops with rice. The meals were great and the service from Ronnie was terrific. On Saturday we were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to go someplace special. We chose to go back to the Lobster Pot because of the Service and Food. We had a great table on the second floor and were again warmly welcomed by Shawn and our server Floyd. We decided to stick with the same meals that we enjoyed so much, and we were pleased we did. The two experiences were great and we will be back. Thank you, Shawn, Ronnie and Floyd, for your hospitality!More

You can’t go to P’town without going to Lobster Pot. Compared to other restaurants we dined at during our visit, the ambience was definitely missing. It is a very busy place and not high on mood setting. That being said, you get quality food and...service - although it does seem a bit rushed at times. The clam chowder is the BEST I have ever had and certainly the best I had in P’town, Boston, and Martha’s Vineyard. Our lobster was delicious as well. This is the place to get a whole lobster if you are so inclined.More

Had dinner here after a day of whale watching. We had stuffed cod with shrimp and scallops in a seafood newburg sauce and tomato sauce. Both were incredible and huge. Calamari app didn't justify the $16 price for it's size but everything was great.

Wonderful lunch! We all enjoyed the hot lobster rolls. Highly recommend this very popular restaurant. Don’t get scared away when you see the line starting to form out side the restaurant at 11:15 in the morning. The staff are highly organized getting people seated and...food comes out quickly, though you never feel rushed.More

We ate at the upstairs bar. Restaurant was busy as the end of the last offseason came to a close. Prices were a little higher than average for the area. Food was fresh and tasty. Service was quick.
