I have been coming to Provincetown for a number of years and have tried most of the restaurants. Since I only stay a few days I want to make sure I eat food I cant't get at home. Lobsters and clam chowders are probably their most famous specialties. I love the baked haddock abut they were out of haddock the... More

First time to P-town, parked in a lot close proximity to wharf, shops, etc. P-town has one of the largest and diverse locations for restaurants. We opted for The Lobster Pot which had very large food options. Decided on the lobster ravioli, but was disappointed. The stuffing in the ravioli was more of a paste, lobster in color with a... My wife and I visited the Lobster Pot with a family member who lives on Cape Cod. We arrived at about 6:00pm on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was busy but there was no wait and we were seated right away at table with a view of the marina. Our server arrived and took our drink orders. By the time... More

We spent a day in Provincetown and stopped in here on the recommendation of a friend. We didn't have a reservation, but hit a sweet spot in the lunch cycle and were immediately seated upstairs (Top of the Pot) near a window with a nice view of the beach and bay. The restaurant is unpretentious and the focus is on... More

If you are there multiple days, definitely include a meal here. The lobster dishes are terrific. You may need to wait an hour plus if you go during the high season. They don't take reservations. Worth the wait

This place is always busy, especially in the summer. Great New England fare. When in P-town, you must check it out at least once.

We walk the from door and the host asked my name, he directed us to the seating area where another host greeted us by name, with a smile and showed us to a table. The waitstaff was fun and very efficient and the fish was out of this world. Fresh delicious and properly cooked. We saved room for dessert and... More

With a name like the Lobster Pot we expected a touristy, family restaurant and that is what we got. Still, the food was quite good. During the day it would have awesome views as it sits on the harbor. Yes, it appeals to tourist. Huge dining room with lots of people. But worth the trip.

Outstanding food and service. Highly recommended. Had the lobster roll and squid for appetizer and they were both delicious.

This was my first stop. Myself and friends met here for lobster. Yummie. I ordered a whole boiled lobster. And yes moments later the whole boiled lobster arrived. I wasn't sure how i was going to extract all that meat from that beautiful lobster and I looked at the bartender and I said now what? Moments later my plate reappears... More
