Based on reviews I was looking forward to a great meal and was disappointed. The boiled shrimp starter course was bland and the smoked duck was tasteless. The restaurant was also very loud but the service was good.

Group of 9 of dined at the restaurant, we have been many times before and the food is always exceptional. Staff are polite and friendly. I would highly recommend the steak, lamb or surprisingly the chicken which was the best I've ever had. Try the...More

The Red Inn is known for its fine dining. This is a waterfront restaurant and beautiful interior. To experience the food and ambience, the thing is to go to the Happy Hour

Beautiful setting, wonderful food, always a great dinner. While we've usually eaten in the main dining room, the bar also is a nice option (although somewhat noisier depending on the crowd).

The Red Inn is probably my favorite restaurant, anywhere. I am well traveled and well fed, and this place has it all. I have been many times over the last several years, since the current owners bought the Inn and brought it to its current...More

Really good food and great staff. Beautiful spot for cocktails as the sun goes down and dinner when the moon comes out. Good variety of menu. Prices as expected.

If you want to enjoy this restaurant for what it does best, go for a drink and oysters on the deck, before heading somewhere else for your main meal: rubbery scallops, over-cooked pasta, and dry fish can be had for considerably less money at any...More

Like the title says - never disappoints. Enjoyed a lovely dinner - food was outstanding. Great service and lovely selection on menu. There is also a wonderful area outside which is great for afternoon cocktails. Some of the best views in Provincetown.

I have never seen dogs out on the patio but I would call and check. Provincetown is a very dog friendly place.
