Front Street Restaurant in Provincetown is a good restaurant, reasonably priced, with good food, and a great central location in town. Service is attentive, and they have an inventive menu.

We had heard about Front Street, but finally had the chance to try for the first time last weekend. All I can say is "Wow" to the service, the ambience, and the food! Just walking into the warm, perfectly-lit, nicely decorated dining room, being greeted warmly by the hostess on a very busy weekend night, I said, "I am going... More

I have been dining at this restaurant for the past 20 years. It is exceptional. The food is always a home run and the staff way above the rest.

We decided to check the place. Following recommendations from friends, we booked a table in advance. The Italian meals tasted good, but the portions seems small for the price which we were paying. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed, as if in a rush to get our order and run to other tables.

Consistently top notch cuisine year after year. The standing specials (particularly the tea-smoked duck) are our favorites, but don't miss the rack of lamb if it's on the menu.

The best food in all of P-town. Can't say enough about the place. Great atmosphere, and a professional waitstaff.

The restaurant is in an old house, low ceilings, tight space, but it's what I expected. The food and service was very good. This is a very popular spot; we were lucky to get 2 seats at the bar. Mostly Italian fare but there something for everyone on their menu. A little pricey, but not too bad; i would recommend.

I avoided Front Street for years because it doesn't have the bay view or outdoor exposure of other Ptown restaurants. What a mistake. I had the best dinner I had all week at Front Street, and probably the best dinner in a long time. Fine service, well considered tastes, and carefully prepared dishes all contribute to a wonderful dining experience.

We went to Front Street for our second visit. It is in a basement, pretty dark but good ambience. We ordered two Italian dishes off the regular menu. Excellent food. We didn't have alcohol or dessert and our bill was around $55.00. Worth the price.

Thank Anne D
