Taste the best that Italy has to offer in our cozy wine cellar that has radiated charm and atmosphere for decades. At Ciro & Sal's, inspiration is born from the simple homegrown flavors and traditions of the Northern Italian cuisine. Enjoy the aroma of garlic and herbs, combined with the freshest local ingredients while dining in our dimly lit brick wine cellar. Be seated at an intimate table and settle in for an evening of extraordinary taste sensations.
A hidden gem. Off of the street down a walkway. Beautiful location with some outdoor seating as well as dining in the wine cellar. We were lucky and were immediately seated without reservations. Had we been about 45 minutes later , we would have likely...had to wait.
The food is delicious. Appetizer was zucchini frittata which was excellent. They had a special of wild mushrooms ravioli in a pesto cream sauce that was phenomenal. This was ordered as a side with the pesche limon which was made with fresh local cod. Entree came with sautéed veggies and a broiled tomato.
All around, this was in my top three Italian meals. We will be back.More
Had a fantastic meal with great service in a really nice, authentic ambiance. Reminds me of a restaurant you would find in Florence. Excellent menu with many options. We had a few pasta Dishes
which were terrific and also a pasta dish with Cod, shrimp,...calamari, clams and scallops (i skipped the mussels) which I loved. You need to make a reservation as they were turning people away on a Monday evening. Bring your camera as they have a great courtyard with flowers to enjoy before or after dinner. The best thing we had was the greatest tiramisu we have had. Really light and awesome. Great place in Ptown.More
From reservation to payment, a flawless experience!
Indoor, party of 3, all ordered classic Italian: Lasagna, Seafood Carbonara, Chicken Piccata -- ample portions, proceeded with house and Cesar salads (extra); and desert. Again, mains were delicious, and not "heavy."
Server attentive, but unhurried; bill most...reasonable for a resort town.More
I have eaten at this restaurant many times over the years, but since COVID hit, I am amazingly disappointed at communication with this restaurant for reservations.
Their web address email@example.com seems to go into a black hole. I never hear back from the restaurant when...I use this email address.
Voice mail is also a problem, too. I made a reservation a few months ago for a weekend night. I left my cell number for the restaurant to call me to confirm my reservation. I received no phone call and when I went to the restaurant on the night of my intended reservation I was told that they were full and that they had called me back and told the person on the receiving end that they were full. Did it ever occur to them to confirm that they were speaking with me, or that they had the correct number? Apparently not.
Now, several months later, I am contacting the restaurant for another reservation. I am unable to reach someone on their reservation line, but I do leave a message for them for a specific time (7 PM) and a date. I receive call back message and the replier says that a different time (6:30 PM), which I had not chosen, was unavailable and they would put me in at another time (6 PM). Seriously. Customer service skills are lacking. I think the marijuana dispensaries are having a profound undue influence.More
Last here about 5 years ago and it wasn't that great. Decided to give it another shot and so glad we did. Scored a reservation for Saturday evening at 5:30pm. The restaurant was full upon arrival and we were quickly seated. Water, warm bread and...a bottle of wine followed. My partner had a fantastic seafood dish and I, creature of habit, had the puttanesca. From service to food, it was fantastic. The ambience, stone setting and lighting - all part of C&S's experience make this a favorite while in P-town!More
What can I say. We have been to Ciro & Sal’s before but this time we had a bad experience. We ordered the Caesar salad, the veal Parmesan, and a pasta dish. The only thing that was good was the Pasta aglio y olio. The...rest was not good! We ate the salad, but did not complain. When the veal came and it was not good, we informed Topher who took it back and said they would make a new one. The waitress returned and said they would not take it off the bill but if we wanted to order a new dish, they would make it and still charge us. So, not only was the food bad, they did not handle this well at all. Topher never returned to the table.
Never again. Far better places in Ptown to dine!!More
Amazing dinner! The service was very good as well as the food. They offered gluten free pasta for an upcharge which was cooked excellent. The appetizers were the best part of the meal! The dessert was just ok - the cheesecake was ice cold. We...just prefer it room temperature. Overall, excellent dinner and ambiance.More
What a great meal! Everything was perfect including our servers Topher and Sabrina.
Had a nice cozy table by the fireplace. Dinner was phenomenal! Husband had veal Milanese, I had gluten free shrimp scampi.
Everything was excellent! Can’t wait to return in the summertime...to sit outside in their beautiful courtyard!More

I’m not sure but, I think you will have more options on your 4 course meal then on the early bird special. If your dinner is after 6:30pm then you did good on purchasing the Groupon. Check with the restaurant on the difference but if my memory serves me right (the early bird special is not a 4 course meal). Good luck and Bon Appétit!
