Casual and fun, elegantly prepared and presented menu. Our party of four had a lively time AND thoroughly enjoyed the exquisite food, prepared by long-time Provincetown chefs in the authentic Italian cuisine old Provincetown is known for.

Location on the pier is very nice - especially if you have a table on the window with the harbor view. Small restaurant with only about 15 tables and a small bar. Service was very good. Unfortunately the food is mediocre. Not worth the price

I loved the interior atmosphere of 9 Ryder, and the serving staff was terrific. The sunset was glorious out the window...However, the food was a bit overcooked and disappointing. Sole seemed possibly frozen (crazy in Provincetown) or maybe just quite overdone and mushy. The artichoke app was sautéed canned artichokes, not what I expected. But my mussels were delicious and... We were introduced to this gem last week. A smallish...12 tops...restaurant that packs so much in such a small space. The 3 of us had pasta Carbonara, Formaggio and Pancetta. All excellent and we cheated and shared the Chocolate Mousse...delicious. Service and attention were excellent. Revisited tonight with a Townie that had never eaten here. Even better. Started with marinated... More

This place has to be impossible to get into on the weekends, I scored a great table on a tuesday evening, everyone from the hostess who sat us to the wait staff was great. It is like having dinner in someones dining room with a pier view. The food was awesome and I suggest you check it out!!

Ever since the "real" Sal and Ciro left the restaurant business I've felt the absence of truly great Italian food in P'town. Happily, I recently discovered 9 Ryder and was much impressed by the quality of their dishes and the variety of the menu. The place is located at the end of the Cabral pier in an unremarkable, rectangular building... More

This is the place must go place for pasta in ptown. The restaurant is our on Fisherman's Wharf in a casual "grandma's dining room" setting. The breaded veal cutlet baked with house red sauce, mozzarella and parmesan is fabulous as well as the garlic, olive oil and lemon pasta. This place is a must try while in ptown!

Small but cozy. On a busy weekend you most likely need reservations. The food is good the price was about standard. The wait staff is very friendly and down to earth. There is a nice view of the wharf from the restaurant and a small bar.

One question. Who serves meat without some sort of a side? No veggies? No salad? No potato? Just a piece of chicken without flavor that cost $30. Walked away hungry and broke. Never again.

I am a patient diner. This place was cold and rude. Asked if they had a cocktail menu and was snapped at "no I Don't!!" No way they were set up for our group of 10 even though they called to adjust our dining time I would not suggest even asking a question. No eye contact. No greeting. No way.... More
