We stopped in to check it out, and were pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. Somewhat sophisticated pub menu, well executed. Solid draft beer selection. Perhaps we were lucky, but we had excellent, just friendly enough, service. Surprised because this place is better than it has to be, given the location. Many places on Commercial St. are only as good... More

Loved the service, loved the environment, and the location was central to everything. I respect that good service, good location, and being in a resort town will all contribute to the cost of beverages, but even after a few days thinking about it, I cannot rationalize the 14 dollars I paid for a bloody mary as being reasonable. The glass... More

Good place to stop (outside) for a quick one in between shopping. Service was good at the bar, but it was a little chilly since it was sprinkling. They had a limited offering of beer on tap but their craft cocktails were imaginative. It certainly is a good place to people watch.

This place was recommended by another traveler we met on the ferry ride from Boston. He said it's a cool place to stop by for a beer and sit outside, which it is. We decided on a drink and dinner and were pleasantly surprised that the food was so good. We had the clam chowder, fish and chips, and the... More

Everything here was made to impress... even the presentation of the food. Sadly, it's flat in the taste department. Not was it too salty, the food arrived cold. Wings were unevenly salted, the pork belly dish was over salted and over sugared... and I couldn't taste the meat. The chicken confit was unfit for consumption. It was mush and barely... More

We stopped in to the beer garden for a drink before dinner in Ptown and this place was perfect. We sat outside on a beautiful day and the place had a great vibe. The beer list was extensive as you would expect of a beer garden, however the cocktail list was outstaning as well. I had a Cape Cod painkiller... More

I keep on rating this place with 5 stars and I want you all to know I am a judgmental jerk most of the time. They make the drinks from scratch, so you will wait a bit for the mixed drinks. They drain and clean out the draft beer lines every day. This means they throw away a lot of... More

Like the Black Fish the Nor'East Beer Garden was a top of the line eating experience. Five of us loved the whole experience I had a cocktail that I am looking forward to having again. I took down the recipe but know that the experience and the location made it better. the service was exquisite! the staff was very aware... More

Loved this place! Hadn't been in before, walked by and decided to stop for dinner. My hubby had two amazing craft cocktails: Amoxicillin and Penicillin. We had the clam chowder and spaetzle. Clam chowder had big chunks of clam and potato, just how I like. And the spaetzle included lardon (basically chunks of bacon) and was so smoky and delicious.... More
