We had dinner & breakfast here while on vacation. The staff was great! Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and welcoming. Dinner was a fantastic hamburger and my partner had short ribs. The following morning for breakfast, my partner had French toast, and I...had blueberry pancakes. For dinner we sat inside, for breakfast, we chose to sit outside in an igloo. My only gripe was the parking, which to be fair belongs to the gym next door. At dinner, there was no issue, at breakfast we were chased by an employee from Mussel Gym. We stayed at the Breakwater hotel, so it was a bit of a to walk. We had to pay $10 to park for breakfast, but we parked here that night while we went out.More

OK, we're on vacation. We saved all year to go to Ptown, we stopped here for breakfast. We were greeted and seated outside which we asked for. Weather was decent. When our waiter " Chuck" came over I asked a very simple question and then...asked about a beverage and ' Chuck" had a attitude about a simple request. He repeated when he came back " .... "It's like I told you, here are the choices" really snippy and rude. !!! I can't believe we didn't get up and walk away. My husband and I just looked at each other. You think I asked him to go to my car 5 blocks away and grab my coat. If I had asked him a ton of questions, special requests, etc... then yeah, I could see him getting bent out of shape. We just got there!! Very disappointed in the service. Food was good, lots of options. Will we go back next time ? maybe if the owner replies to this with some kind of compensation.More

I’ve been coming to Ptown for over 20 years every September. This year we stayed on the West End, versus the East End. The West End put us on the other side of town and Liz’s was recommended. Located only 10 minutes away from downtown...by foot. It is clear this is where the locals go. Every employee was super nice and helpful. They have indoor and outdoor seating (when conditions allow – they do have outdoor heaters to extend that option). Inside is small but quaint. Best to make a reservation for dinner. Breakfast is first come first serve. We had to wait a bit for Breakfast one of the days. The food was excellent on all our visits. And the prices were reasonable including drinks.More

The restaurant is lovely, great ambiance and a very efficient host helping to run the patio. We sat for awhile before being greeted by our server. Needing a night off from fish, we ordered chicken parm and short ribs. I could tell by looking at...mine that it didn’t looked freshly prepared. The meat and cheese were tough and overcooked but the spaghetti and sauce were ok. I wasn’t in the mood to complain and the server never checked on our table. I really expected better from this beautiful place.More

We gathered at Liz’s for a group dinner and as always they never disappoint! Our entrees and starters were spot on. The wedge salad, crab cakes and cheesy garlic bread were splendid as well as the chicken and eggplant parmigiana. The key lime pie and...lemon coconut cake were outstanding. We walked here for breakfast following a recommendation from the hotel barman. The food did not disappoint - French toast and fruit, stack Of pancakes and fruit and eggs and toast plus drinks. Not a cheap option but good value for money and served by...friendly and efficient staffMore

Wonderful food, and had a great experience until everyone in the indoor eating section was given a dramatic performance by Liz's staff. An uncalled for interaction btwn what looked like perhaps management (at least he thought he was), and head host, and then waitress. Manager...got clear enjoyment out of embarrassing the head host (the staring him down to make sure he didn't miss one minute of the host's reaction perhaps gave it away), who in turn then took it out on the waitress. Those are things customers remember. While the food and decor were lovely, I will always remember the attitude the young inexperienced manager took out on his older more experienced host, who then took it out on his waitress staff. Like I said....food was great, but Liz may have an attitude issue on her hands with her employees! Good luck with that. A real turnoff for your customers. I understand there is stress everywhere lately, and lack of staff...but how about treating the staff you do have with respect. Talk about trickle down effect!!! Checking that restaurant off the list. We were able to score an outside igloo, which was very comfortable. The cafe was extremely busy, but our waitress made a heroic effort to give everyone good service. My turkey club was delicious and the accompanying fries were among the best I've had. My...companion enjoyed his burger, which came with the same delectable fries.More

We had breakfast here because our regular place hadn’t opened for the season yet. So glad we branched out. Everything was delish (coffee, bread, eggs, home fries all super). Setting was so cozy and service friendly and attentive. We will def return.More
