We were planning on going to Herring Cove to listen to the Digney Fignus Band's free concert on the beach. While we knew we could purchase food there at the Far Lands concession stand we opted to pre-order from their Bradford Street Street location. We...ordered on line and needed to adjust our pick up time and the team there was very helpful in making that happen. So it was easy to order and easy to pick up our fresh sandwiches with plenty of time before the concert. Note that when you get to the store while the sign says $20 to park if you are going into FLP there is no charge for parking. The sandwiches were terrific by the way. When ordering be sure to add some Cranberry Chutney to your order as it will enhance any sandwich you order. Full array of grocery products and beverages available in the store. Their menu is quite large for take out and you can order anything from a breakfast treat to groceries for your stay. Rest rooms are available indoors. Rockers out front to watch the world go by. The staff is very helpful and very professional and pleasure to deal with. So order up for your trip to the beach, a boat ride a day of fishing or just hanging out you can't go wrong.More

We've had so many meals at Farland! It's a deli (the sandwiches are named after local beaches), with specials like lobster roll, and a mini-grocery store with quality items, fresh fruit, wine and beer. Everything you need for a day at the beach, or eat...in. The pastries and desserts are great -- no cheap oil or aftertaste. I like the brownies, and a fruit galette that is not always on the menu (I think a local freelance baker provides it occasionally). Breakfast is also very good. My hub likes bagel with peanut butter; I go for the breakfast sandwich. The deli items are delish -- sliced steak or salmon, creative salads, even Jamaican beef patties. Free wifi -~ before the pandemic we used to sit and surf the web while munching, and often struck up conversations with other patrons. Table seating has just resumed. There are a few parking spaces, beautiful flower boxes, and several outdoor chairs; patrons with their doggies in tow often take those seats. Frankly, I prefer to sit inside because the deli is located at a busy corner and in summer the car exhaust can be unrelenting, but that doesn't seem to bother everyone. Props to the owners for keeping Farland open year-round and notifying their email list of specials. We were there once in spring and the mac and cheese special was fabulous!More

We ordered take out sandwiches and they were both really good. The Cuban had these fantastic pickles that really made it. The herring cove has red pepper that makes it great. Definitely going to get on the next trip.

Fabulous fresh sandwiches, great bakery, excellent and personable service. What a treat to find this place. (thank you Trip Advisor!) Not only was lunch great, but the shrimp dinner we bought for later was excellent. Highly recommend!

Everything is wonderful at Farland but the off season hot sandwich specials really hit the spot on a cold blustery day. James makes an awesome steak and cheese! It’s so delicious! Customer service is also excellent!

My best friend and I stopped in for sandwiches on the way to the beach. She loved her BLT, made with tons of extra crispy bacon. I had the Pilgrim Lake, with homemade cranberry chutney which was so good.

We hired far land to cater a brunch. Tom was very easy to work with and made adjustments as I needed. Unfortunately there were a few missteps with the food. The ham and cheese strata was over cooked(almost burnt) and the 2 quiche were under...done. That give the food was tasty and the other items in my order were great. I would like to try again when we go back.More

While in town for the filming of American Horror Story I had the pleasure of working with Tom, his partner Jim and their wonderful chefs Kathy and Brian. I’m always looking for something warm and delicious for our crew to keep them going on long...cold days. The chefs prepared us Chicken Carbonara, a vegetarian Carbonara and an assorted platter of deserts 😋 I could’ve eaten 4 servings of the pasta alone (thank you chefs!) but like Tom said, the fudge brownies are a crowd pleaser!! I definitely recommend Far Land Provisions for your large gathering. We liked them so much we bought the brownies again for our last day of shooting 😄💜 Thank you Far Land and Provincetown for your hospitality!More

We drove into PTown as Far Land was closing for the Thanksgiving holiday (we had not preordered). They went out of their way to help us out, finding several different stuffing options to round out our Thanksgiving dinner, even though I'm sure they want to...head out to their families. Saturday we ordered online Sandwiches, which were a prefect compliment to our long beach walk. Big sandwiches, and very tasty! Great people, most importantly.More

Sounds like a great day. I didn't go to Herring Cove Beach - I think Race Point is a little quieter, and more sand dune-y, which is what we wanted. We were there late afternoon, could not have been better, sun was sinking... More
