If you are intimidated looking in the windows, good! Now get over that, go on in, and learn that you had nothing to worry about.

the old colony tap gives the appearance of having been around since this was a colony..the décor appears to be old shipwreck bottles of bud are 4.50, and there is a jukebox which always seems to have a selection of songs playing constantly....alice and her girlfriends used to come here on the weekend when she lived in boston (a long... Great place to hang for a couple of brews. A no nonsense type of bar with a lot of history. You will have to visit and ask the bartender about the history. Walls are made from wooden ships....just wicked cool. If your a stuck up snob who thinks your entitled, then this is not the place for you. REAL people... More

This place would be "Cheers" if Norm and Cliff were Blackbeard and Jack Sparrow; a fine, funky amalgam of flotsam and jetsam of both the nautical and human type....Hide your wife and hold your tongue, cause the ride could get bumpy. Special bonus: they have Green Chartreuse, in season.

Only went in to grab a couple drinks. Bartender was very friendly and it was a fun atmosphere. Boyfriend got oysters and he said they were great.

It's not fancy, not really clean, the floors are uneven, light fixtures are broken, they sell chips and nuts, you'll need a gas mask in the men's room, loud music, basically, it's a dump. Would I go back....Definitely. It has a lot of old school character, definitely a Dive Bar.

The Old Colony redefines rustic. Its insides are made from old ship wood. Nothing is straight or plumb, including the floor. It's one of the last pubs that doesn't serve food - just drinks and local flare. It's certainly a no-frills experience but we stop in every time we are in Provincetown.

This places oozes dive bar, from the worn out tables that have been carved into over the years to the slanted floor. The bartender was excellent and the atmosphere very relaxed. The quintessential dive bar.

The Old Colony has so much history bundled into this small establishments. Many fishermen and artists alike have come thorough these doors and nights have been full of drinking beer and storytelling. Love it here!

Great local bar where you get some great character from the establishment. Feels like a time trip! I love this place and all of the crazy people it brings together!
