We specialize in Traditional Southern BBQ, all of Our Meats are dry rubbed and smoked with hard woods. We leave the choice of housemade sauces up to you. Our meats and side dishes are made daily in-house.

We had heard about Bark through friends who told us if we were interested in great Barbecue we should visit Bark in Plymouth. My only regret is we should have gone there sooner. I have been to the Carolina's quite a bit in my career, if I closed my eyes when dining on Bark's food in thought I was down south. There are not words enough to describe the burnt endz. Ribs were great so was the ribs and Carolina pulled pork. If you want great Southern Barbecue save the airfare and drive to Bark in Plymouth. We'll be going over the bridge soon to return.

BBQ in the area in a long time.
Looking for a place to eat lunch today I found a new place with maybe the best bbq I have had in Plymouth in my 30 plus years living here.
The smell when you walk in almost makes you drool. The menu all looked so good I wanted to order it all. But after having a big breakfast I chose a just a brisket sandwich with collard greens. The brisket was cooked perfect with a nice smoked flavor, and the greens were very good also. The staff was all very friendly and helpful.
What I really like is they do not drown their meat in sauce. Instead there is a basket full of sauces for you to chose from. I tried both the sweet and hot sauces, both tasted very good.
When I got home I told my wife we have to go here to eat together. She showed me a lot of good to great reviews of the place, and one really bad one. I told the wife I find hard to believe they desereved a neagative review at all. But everybody has a right to their opinion.
Personally I loved the place, and will be going back ( maybe too much). This is the kind of place I will recommend to all friends and family.

This was my second trip here for lunch an again everything was excellent. This time I had the Original Fried Chicken Sandwich. Upon taking the first bite, I thought this has to to be the best chicken sandwich anywhere ! I also got the greens again because they are amazing, and I also got the beans which very good as well.
More people need to go here and try the food and review it so it can be listed where it should be as the best BBQ on the Southshore.

Did a takeout order, just wanted to try the "new place". SO glad we did! The Burnt endz, smoked wings and hush puppy appetizers were fantastic. We ordered a combo tray with brisket, ribs and pulled pork, mac and cheese for the sides. Everything was great and the brisket melted in your mouth. I felt like they really nailed the smoke levels. Highly reccomend

OK, if you love good barbecue, and in particular brisket, you have to try this place out. Really just fantastic. The brisket and hush puppies were the best I've ever had. Everything is so good, you don't even need the barbecue sauce, but there is a vast selection of that as well should you want to choose one. Couldn't recommend higher!

Always a stop when I make it to the area. Most delicious BBQ place! Just a stop here makes the trip from Germany worth it. Everything I tried was absolutely amazing! The meat is so juicy and the ribs fall off the bone. All sides are homemade and you can definitely tell. I highly recommend the Mac'n cheese, cornbread is a must! My boyfriend loved their cucumber salad and baked beans. The homemade sauces offer something for everyone. The staff is super friendly and they make you feel like part of the family. You can tell that this place is family owned and run. I went with my boyfriend but there were several families dining in too and everyone had a smile on their face. I can highly recommend this place!

The food was great I especially liked the ribs and the pulled pork. The sauces (I think we tried them all) were excellent. I wasn't a fan of the brisket only because the bark had a taste I didn't like almost sweet. The service was top notch. I don't usually grade 5 star for anything so 4 stars is the best I give.

WOW!!! Amazing barbecue. I can’t say enough how delicious the food was. The owners Janice and Kurt are so talented. I recommend the brisket, pulled pork and chicken wings. 😃

Normally I would skip writing a review that wasnt good but honestly after spending $100 on 4 meals without any flavor it was hard to take. We work hard for our money. The mac n cheese was tasteless and pasty. The chicken wasn't pulled chicken. It was cut off a chicken and placed on top of the mac n cheese without sauce. So it wasn't cooked in a crock pot...zero flavor. BBQ sauce was available in plactic cups on the side but no babecue sauce was used in the cooking process. I got plain white chicken meat on top of mac n cheese in a bbq
restaurant. Fried pickles were delicious. I would not go back. Any bbq place that advertises mac n cheese and pulled pork or chicken has food busting with flavor. Not here. Very disappointed.

Excellent food and service! Nice and fresh and homemade the specials are the best change everyday. So good they run out. Great corn bread. Location great and easy in and out. Very clean and newly renovated!! This is a must try.

Very delicious and super nice hosts.
We came by at our trip down the East-Coast and enjoyed the beef brisket and ribs. The prices are more than fair and we felg very welcome!

We ordered ribs and brisket to take home. The ribs were good but the brisket was very fatty and, for us, not eatable. Sides of backed beans and Mac & cheese okay.
