This old tavern was a horse changing station in the olden days and is located on an old dirt road. The place is charming and has a nice area outside, where you can sit around a fire pit and wait for your table. Though the service was super slow for us, I would go again- just request a different server... More

We went here for brunch on our way to the Mirbeau spa. Food was fantastic and the Bloody Mary's were A-mazing! The ambiance was warm and cozy and the epitome of a New England tavern. While the bartender was friendly and professional, the hostess and server seemed quite put off by our group. They were annoyed when we asked for... More

Very delicious food. Get the Brussels sprouts appetizer they're amazing. I had the salmon with risotto my wife and friend had steak and another had scallops. Everyone said their food was excellent. Wine was great, reasonably priced bottles. Atmosphere is lively but intimate. Waitress a little brash when we took too long to order. Overall a great evening.

The Rye Tavern is tucked away in the middle of the outside of Plymouth MA. The food is amazingly great and the charm of the experience is worth the drive. This is that country in the woods feel that you long for when trying to find the right meal to satisfy the appetite. Not much room here, but then again...... More

Been waiting a long time to try this place We tried once during last summer but without a reservation and only 6 bar seats there was no room for us. The service, drinks and menu were all very good. We went at a time when it was not busy (cold Sunday night) so noise was not an issue Considering the... More

We had dinner there last night. Service and food were great. Always something different on the menu. They also have an out side bar during the summer.

We arrived without reservations but found two seats at the bar, which was ‘first come, first served (only six seats). Our server, Jason H, and his coworker at the bar were personable and very attentive. The full house menu was available. Hubby and I shared a freshly made burrata salad that was creamy and delicious: grilled pears, spiced honey, almonds... More

I went last evening with a friend and found the food quite fabulous. I'm not a foodie but the marinade on my steak and the added items on my baked potato made me feel like I was in a Parisian bistro. The portions were adequate. Yes, the area for dining is rather small but this was a tavern in the... More

I don't understand why this place draws so many people. We expected to find an elegant restaurant in a centuries old building. Far from elegant, it is noisy and cramped. The food is just OK, the portions are small and pricey. One visit was enough for us.

On a recent Monday evening, my wife and I decided to dine at the Rye Tavern at the Pinehills. We had been there for lunch in the past and found it to be very good. We made reservations for dinner this time and were seated within 5 minutes. The restaurant was very crowded and the tables are somewhat close together.... More
