It's the farm to table hotspot in Plymouth if you ask around. Hard to find down an unpaved road near the Pine Hills, it's interesting to get there. There's an inviting outdoor area with a large bar and lots of people having burgers w/ truffle fries and drinks. We opted for indoors as it was cold that evening and we... More

Read previous disappointing reviews but decided to try it anyway. I loved the atmosphere of an old inn. Also enjoyed the Brussel sprouts and the meals. Will go again. The service was great also.

I took my sister who was visiting and wanted to go to a farm to table restaurant. First off the noise level was so high we could not carry on a conversation. The service was ok although I felt the waitress had to many tables. No one ever stopped to pour wine or bring bread. The main courses were average.... More

Rye tavern has the most delicious drinks and Brussels sprouts ! We love sitting outside in the summer and taking in the view of the rye field! The setting is beautiful and food fantastic .

After reading many positive reviews and comments, I was very interested in going to Rye Tavern. Sadly, I think I have eating my first and last meal there. On the bright side, Rye Tavern is located in a lovely 18th century house and offers indoor and outdoor dining. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the decor is understated and very... More

We sat outside and the atmosphere was lovely. The server was pleasant and attentive. However the food was mediocre at best. The chicken was rubbery and bland. While the whipped potatoes were good, the broccolini was overcooked and unseasoned. My husband's $16 hamburger was overcooked, skimpy and not as good as a fast food burger. The truffle fries were hard... More

My wife and I and local friends went here for dinner. Drinks outside were enjoyed with a very good view of the surrounding lawn and foliage. Bar service was slow as we had to serve ourselves and seemed to be ignored for a while. This is a historic Tavern built in 1792 and was called the Cornish Tavern then. John... More

I was SO excited to try this place! I went once years ago, and remembered liking it. Just meh. I probably won't eat there again. First off, we sat at the outside bar and got very dull, ho hum service from a girl who knew nothing about the menu or the wines. The person I was with complained about her... More

What a gorgeous setting. The tavern is located on a farm and has seating and a bar area overlooking their gardens. The staff was super friendly, the food was delicious and the vegetables came from their own garden. Had the eggplant paremesan, that is made without pasta and it was fantastic. Peach cobbler was fresh, and a good portion, nice... More
