My husband & I enjoyed a fabulous meal outdoors overlooking the fields & garden at The Rye Tavern. It was a wonderful relaxing experience.

Enjoyable location off the dirt Old Sandwich Road, for some relaxing time surrounded by trees, flowers beds and the restaurant vegetable garden. Outside seating on both sides of the building, one with a large bar and TV. Clam chowder was delicious, it was a leap for me as the menu description sounded like the fried clams were in the chowder-not... More

Great food and always a culinary experience. Definitely not your typical Plymouth seafood restaurant. We sat on the back patio which is always peaceful . Had the best clam chowder , which is presented with a few fried clams on top. Our waiter was top notch.

Even though we were in the middle of July, we found ourselves looking for a nice warm nook to have dinner while our friends from London were in town. I suggested this restaurant even though it's a good 20 min drive from our home base. Right off the bat, our server was neither interested nor caring as to the dining... More

The place is beautiful. Very peaceful and quite. The food and the drinks were great! Pricy but great) the best part of the whole experience was our waitress. Unfortunately, I didn't ask her name... She is blond with 2 small tattoos on the back sides of the hips. One of them is an anchor and the other one is a... More

This is our second time for dinner, First was NOT GOOD. Second was worse! Went with my husband Saturday night before Father's Day. Sat outside on the "Quiet" side. They definitely need to spray the area or use citronella, bugs were terrible. Other side on grass there was a large family with a HUGE dog running all around the area,... More

Horrible Father's Day experience at Rye Tavern......an hour and a half to serve salad and egg dishes while the adjacent tables turned over twice! The waitress stopped visiting the table after we asked twice about the delay. The "manager".....said she "could do nothing". Horrible experience for a restaurant that poses as high end.......and why have a "manager" if she "can... More

Recently visited Rye Tavern for early evening drinks and meal. The least expensive white wine on the menu was $8/glass. Most were $10-15. The bread (sweet and fresh) and spread were good, and a second portion was easily available. I ordered the eggplant lasagna ($18) with a kale and grapefruit salad, which consisted of three slices of eggplant, 3 slices... More

My husband and I enjoyed a delightful al fresco lunch at Rye's Tavern. We had visited the Pine Hills for the special Art in the Garden and decided to try Rye's Tavern. We had maps provided by the visitor's booth at the Art Festival, so finding it was no issue for us...although part of the route we took was over... More

Had an enjoyable dinner with friends here last week. We had a reservation and were seated inside though all of the action was clearly outside on the patio. They had a lively bar and patio outside with a large lawn and deck. Food was good, however I expected it to be a little bit more refined based on some of... More
