We are a locally owned and operated frozen yogurt shop in Pittsfield, and we’re proud to serve frozen yogurt that comes from a cow, not a mix. Our frozen yogurt is homemade in small batches each day on-site using skim milk and low fat milk from local dairies and fresh ingredients. Our flavors are ever changing, incorporating seasonal ingredients from local farms and artisans when possible. You can enjoy our frozen yogurt with fresh inspired flavors in spring, summer, fall and even winter! Looking for Dairy Free Options? So happy we found Ayelada! We were looking for a good place for frozen yogurt a decided to try Ayelada. Our only disappointment was the small amount of choices, but we are still in a pandemic so we get it!
I had the Mango Dairy free with toasted coconut and pineapple. Soooooooo good!
Kids and hubby got Nutella with all their toppings and love it all.
I think a mini size is a perfect amount for a treat any thing larger will leave most kids with leftovers!
We ate outside at our car, lucky due to great sunny weather in April.

Wonderful yogurt place. They place milk, coconut, and other yogurts made of local ingredients. Toppings had berries, chocolates, nuts, and other things.

This has to be the best frozen yogurt I have ever had. It is fresh and tasty. Great flavors, nice people. It is a must if you are in Pittsfield Mass

I went to Ayelada to get a simple frozen yogurt, the sign said "online orders only". I went inside and asked if I could make an order. One of the 3 teenage girls said "no customers inside, but I could order outside". I waited for her to come out and take my order, but she said "I had to do it online". I said "I couldn't and could she just take my 1 order?". She said she couldn't and I said goodbye. One and done when you have 3 teenage girls running your business and do not care about your business. If i lived here, and I do, I wouldn't go there.

Dave we are sorry for this we always have a manger on staff that is not a "teenager" We are not allowing anyone in the store at this time - May I ask when you came? We do accommodate outside walk ups but due to Covid and contactless take out we have to really discourage it and limit it to special situations - most walk ups go online when they arrive and in less than 5 minutes they are served - we have almost a 5 star view and are often complimented on out service - please give us the Covid benefit of the doubt and try us again!

Went for my favorite lemon yogurt. This is real frozen yogurt with tons of unique topping ideas. They offer 4 flavors a week that change accept for the original flavor stays the same.
They now offer I think it’s a dairy free flavor as well maybe made with coconut milk. Pittsfield is lucky to have this little joint. So so good. It’s always busy even when I’m in my pjs at the last minute cause I was craving it in my couch. Lol.

The sizes are a fixed price here and the toppings don’t cost you extra. So heap on whatever you want. I love this place! Freshest frozen yogurt, some very creative flavors, and an abundance of toppings. Thousands of different combinations.
The hometown pictures on the wall are a nice touch and the use of produce grown in the area is great for the local farmers. I will go back again and again. Friendly staff, seating inside and outside, reasonable prices. Nothing is self-serve here, which I really appreciate.

I visited this frozen yogurt place for a brief visit to beat the heat on the Monday of Caroline Rose week. The music was a nice mix and quiet enough for chitchat. I had the cookies and cream frozen yogurt, and it was very good. The service was very good, and it was overall a great experience.

My sister in law & brother in law took me here. I couldn't help but just scarf it down! I had the lemon cake flavor made with coconut milk - and it was ever so creamy! Absolutely divine. Hope they take me here again on my visit with them.

I got a 12 oz cup of their dairy-free Lemon Cake.
I enjoyed eating the yogurt. But then my tummy didn’t seem to like the yogurt or the lemon cake ingredient for several hours.
Apparently, they mixed in lemon cake mix into the yogurt.
Maybe this was just one flavor that was a miss, perhaps another flavor would be good.
I tasted their Chocolate Donut flavor. That was grainy and the flavor seemed odd. I passed on buying that flavor.
Thumbs up for them trying unique flavors.
Thumbs down for them actually selling the flavors that don’t taste good.
Suggestion: Taste, Taste, and Taste before buying!

CoolBreezer42 - Lemon Cake is one of our most popular flavors and for six years we have never had any complaints. In fact we have a review in the same day as yours for 5 Stars. Our sales go up over 20% when we have a flavor such as Lemon Cake. The Chocolate Donut is also popular and we use locally crafted donuts.
To say thumbs down on these flavors for your personally taste is fine - we can't please everyone and that is why we have over 100 flavors. Our customers would clearly disagree that these are not good flavors.

Ayelada is the place to go for a tasty treat. 5 or 6 weekly flavors to choose from, and all the topping one could imagine. My favorite is the cider donut flavor with berries on top.

Ayelada is the best yogurt I've ever had! Lots of variety of toppings, so you can go with something healthy (lots of fruit) or something not (peanut butter cups! gummy bears! brownies!), and they're all excellent on the original tart flavor. They also make a lot of other flavors that rotate regularly. Thin Mint, lemon cake, s'mores, and chai are some of my favorites.

Have to say....one of the best yogurt experiences around. Just wish you were a bit closer to Lee and Lenox then I would surely visit daily! Beautifully chopped fresh fruits, and love the original flavor. Keep up the good work!

While my brother was being examined in the BMC urgent care building, my niece was getting restless, and more worried that they were taking so long (35 min), so we walked down the complex heading to Daddyo's Diner, but it was closed.
The shop right after that was Ayelada. Having promised her a milkshake, this had to do.
Let me say I am glad now that Daddyo's was closed. We walked in and there were a few people sitting at tall tables eating their "freshly crafted frozen yogurt" with all kinds of toppings!
I was a tad nervous thinking... oh no, what if she doesn't want frozen yogurt! But as she looked around, her eyes lit up, and she exclaimed "Daddy got this for me before and I love it!" She proceeded to explain how everything worked, that they have new flavors each day, and you can add any topping to them!
At the counter we were greeted by a young man with a big smile, and he asked what we wanted, there were a few sizes to choose from, and she had to be pointed to the smaller size, as I hoped we would not have to wait long for her fathers checkup. At just over $2 the portion seems just right, then came any toppings you wanted.
Very friendly, low priced, and the best part... a wonderful taste! I am kinda old fashioned and ordered chocolate with tiny peanut butter cups. She got Strawberry with gummy-bears, chocolate chips, and chocolate topping.
We left and went outside to enjoy our treats, and before she knew it, her father and mother came out of the doctors, everything had went well. She had a big grin, and said right away "I bet I had a better time than you guys!"
So, let me just say, if you have 10 minutes to get a scrumptious treat... visit Ayelada and you will leave with a smile!

Adefer8. Thx for coming. Our biz is to offer 4 high quality flavors each week made by us each day with local skim milk low fat yogurt and fresh ingredients. We r now offering a vegan flavor with another one coming soon. Others that offer multiple flavors use prepackaged mixes. We take all feedback and are always lookibg to improve but we r not sure what the takeaway is from this review. Offering more homemade flavors is not practical and there is no chance we will ever use low quality mixes Thx again
