This is by far one of my favorite places in Berkshire county. Miguel has been doing incredible tasting Columbian food here on Tyler Street for many years. Now with the expanded dining room, there is plenty of space for any occasion. The typical platter is the consistent staple for many, but try also the special dinners of beef, fish, pork... More

This is a very friendly find in Pittsfield. Had lunch here. A lot of food for very reasonable price. I had the stew and a plantain. Very good. Will visit again when in town.

Based on so many positive reviews and my love of all things South American, I went to Fogata for lunch. I had an empanada which was red(?) and filled mostly with potato. It was tasteless and bought, sadly I thought, on a big white plate all alone with no garnish. No water was offered, I had to ask for it.... More

The service was on the slow side but one bite and it didn't matter. Good was fantastic. Restaurant was also open on a Sunday. A lot of restaurants in the area weren't.

Just to echo other reviews - great food - it's worth the stop while driving through Pittsfield. They offer decent lunch specials with plentiful portions.

My friends and I had heard about this restaurant, which serves traditional Columbian for with a cheerful smile. The food was as delicious as promised. Every plate was plentiful without being overwhelming and included spicy rice with chunks of pepper and onion, beans, perfectly cooked plantains, and crisp, fresh salad. Wine and beer were available. The setting is low key... More

For just passing through Pittsfield, we couldn't have picked a better spot. Fogata had many positive reviews on different sites as well as a menu that listed not only liver, but also tongue. That sealed the deal and we were not disappointed. Our two meals of tongue covered with a homemade tomato sauce and breaded pork loin were excellent, as... More

This place never disappoints me for ethnic food. Its traditional hearty food cooked in a hearty way. Last visit I had the empanada as a app. They do them right! A lot of filling and a thin crust. Did the sampler where it came with pork, steak, fried egg, rice, beans, avocado, fried plantains. Steak was cooked as ordered and... More

Three of us had dinner here this past Sunday evening.. Before being seated, the hostess asked if we minded being in a noisy room where there were two large groups and, if we had objected, she would have seated us in the smaller room once a table became available. Even though the place was very busy, service was prompt and... More
