Went here for lunch and enjoyed a pistachio martini, broccoli rabe and sausage sandwich ($13.99)--choice of sliced sausage or chicken medallion with yummy French fries, Fusilli Campagnola ($16.99)--fusilli pasta tossed with broccoli rabe, garlic white wine sauce, and Veal Saltimbocca($18.99)--pan-seared veal scallopine topped with mozzarella,...prosciutto, and sauteed mushrooms, in a sage white wine sauce. All very good. Service was not up to par only because of staffing issues, but staff pitched in to accommodate diners. Free on-site parking; indoor/outdoor seating; full bar; major credit cards accepted; handicapped accessible; function room.More

Three of us we went on a Wednesday evening for dinner. The restaurant is well kept and nicely appointed. There is plenty of parking. The service was fine and the food was great. I can recommend the Veal Saltimbocca, it was excellent. I also really...enjoyed the house made fusilli, it was done just right. I recommend Toscana's.More

Started with Calamari, got large portion, tender, and an excellent batter. I had Veal Presidenti Parm with Eggplant and linguini, a large portion loaded with tasty veal and eggplant. My wife had Penne Alla Vodka with chicken and bacon, another large portion with a slightly...smokey cheese sauce. Plenty of leftovers came home with us. Pleasant server and bartender, a nice dining experience.More

I reviewed Toscana's back in 2015 and a lot has changed. We went for dinner on a Thursday night and the restaurant was busy. We ordered 4 drinks an appetizer 2 pizzas and 2 meals. The dinners were OK nothing great, and the pizza left...a lot to be desired. When we received our check I was shocked to see that a Kettle One Cosmo was $16 and the other drinks were $12 which was still a little pricey for the area and this restaurant. The total for our casual Thursday night family dinner was over $200. Needless to say, the food was average at best and the drinks ridiculous. We have so many choices in the area with great food, service, and drinks that are reasonably priced I see no need to go here again.More

This was recommended to us as being one of the best in the area. However, I was disappointed. I had chicken piccata which was OK, but was given spaghetti when I requested linguine which lacked sauce. The Caesar salad was a good size but was...dry with meager shavings of parmesan. I had to ask for more dressing. (BTW: Why do restaurants not give or offer anchovies?) As for the atmosphere: It was crowded, noisy and had an atmosphere like that of an enlarged pizza place; so not great for a romantic meal.More

Had a wedding party for my son and new daughter in law and ordered the food for the event off Toscanas catering menu. Steak tips, chicken broccoli and ziti among other things. Our guests were more than pleased with the quality and flavor of our...food choices. Everything was cooked perfectly and was still hot when the food was delivered. Hats off to the chef and very helpful staff at Toscanas. Will be hosting another party in September and will order from Toscanas again!!!More

The outside dining (near a heater on a cool evening), the food, the lemontini cocktail, and our waitress Kim all made for an enjoyable dinner. My wife enjoyed the lemontini and her entree, a special of the evening---crab stuffed haddock with pesto risotto in a...lobster cream sauce. I enjoyed my fruitti de mare fra diavlo. We passed on desserts, although they were tempting; maybe next time we'll leave room! It was refreshing to see the revitalization of diners frequenting the restaurant, especially now that mask restrictions have been lifted and more people have received the Covid-19 vaccination(s). On site free parking, handicapped accessible, full bar, function room, major credit cards accepted, friendly staff (those we encountered). Go enjoy a nice meal and support your local restaurants. Toscana"s will be a good choice. 978-535-0731More

I had purchased a pack of four gift cards at Costco in 2019. I gave two away and we finally got around to using the last two for ourselves. We ordered take out on line for 6 PM. We were told they would call us...when our order was ready. They called right at 6 PM and I went right in to pick the order up. The caesar salad was great. I got eggplant rollatini, some of the best I have ever had. My husband got chicken piccata - very good. They even included four pieces of warm bread and dipping oil. The servings were generous. I got three meals out of my eggplant. My husband got two out of his. We will definitely get take out again.More

We had no problem being seated outdoors promptly at 5p.m. on a Monday. Our waiter (Matt?) was pleasant and accommodating. My wife enjoyed her chicken marsala, and my daughter enjoyed her seafood fra diavolo, although both thought the al dente pasta was too al dente....Both were reluctant to say anything to the waiter, so I did. I believe the dining experience should be what you expect, not what you get. Our waiter quickly offered to bring another serving of pasta, which also turned out to be too al dente, but certainly edible. I enjoyed my meal of lamb chops, steamed vegetables, and roasted potatoes. However, I found fault with all items. The chops were pretty salty and perhaps cooked a bit more than the medium I requested. The veggies were flavorless, and the roasted potatoes were overcooked--dry and hard. Other visits to Toscana's have been more enjoyable, and we'll give them a pass this time. We look forward to a future visit.More

My wife Nancy and I love it here, the food is excellent and the staff are terrific. The Bolognese is the best around and the Chicken Picata is also outstanding. The new outdoor seating a is a great new experience and it's really well done....A big two thumbs up!!!More

Got the chicken piccata Togo this evening-we live in Peabody, but ended up ordering from the Beverly restaurant, because the Peabody restaurant had me on hold for close to 20 minutes. My husband drove to Beverly for the food, brought it hom, and the minute...I took the cover off the chicken piccata, all I could smell was burnt chicken.- one side of the chicken was burnt, even the sauce was burnt. Can’t send it back! My husband ordered fruit demarta (sp) and said the mussels were small and the calamari was chewy. Horrible. The piccata had no lemon flavorMore

Highly disappointed. At a private function on Saturday nite and had been looking forward to this night out for a while. Ok start off with the food. Apps and pasta were actually delish. Cake was horrible. Looks beautiful but no taste. Other desserts were really...good. When mosey on up to a bar you expect a greeting, a smile, some sort of welcoming gesture. What did i get. I got rudeness and a bleach blonde bartender that clearly hates her job and people. Why would you serve the public if you clearly hate it. It is not only me complaining. Most of the people at this function were complaining about her. She had a puss on her face all night and almost seemed as though she would gossip and talk about the customers. I could be wrong but i just found her to be totally unprofessional. I will never step foot in this place again.More

Toscana’s is a nice local place in Beverly, so we went back for a 2nd time(at the last go around our group was mixed about how they felt about the place). The good: portions are huge! Everyone took food home. The not so good: the...food was just ok, but not great. Service was very good and it’s moderately priced. Drinks were good too. Like I said, it’s a nice place, but you might want to look into other Italian options.More

Food was well prepared and delicious, service was very good, only reason a 5 was not given was noise level, we were a party of 8 the first time and a party of 12 the second time, it was nearly impossible to have a conversation...with anyone but the person next to you.More

They had many specials the night we dined. Not sure about any “birthday” specials. There were 6 of us and we sat in the smaller, more private dining room off the bar area. It was nice, there are 3 smaller tables in there if... More
