Use to go there before remodeling. Got excited it was reopened. Under new management the food was cold. We had a plater and house fried rice. The house fried rice, the chicken tasted it was prefrozen. The Platter Including the egg roll, was room temperature. Also looked like it was cooked twice.

Saw a local ad, new management, new name. Nice bar space, lots of dining room seating. Plenty of parking. Fast and friendly service. Similar menu to its sister in Lynn. Soup comes with combo plates. I got the egg drop soup, lo mein combo with 2 appetizer choices. Soup was hot, lo mein had lots of veg. Appetizers were hot,... More

The new name is Green Tea. There is a sister place on the Lynnway in Lynn. The decor is completely changed and done over. Very nicely done. Everyone was quite friendly. The bar area is a decent size. We tried several appetizers and they were delicious. All the food seemed to be freshly cooked. The Lo Mein was awesome.Vegetables were fresh.They... More

We have been going here for quite sometime and then they closed remodeled and opened up under a different name. Well the food was not that good, does not compare to the original Royal Garden. There are to many other places around that are good and less expensive. I would not go back again sorry.

I stopped here many times for lunch when I am working in the area...The Generals chicken.....The finest white meat chicken, not the trims that some use and cover them with batter....I highly recommend this dish as well as anything else on the menu..

Drinks are great. The new owners did a nice job renovating....but the food is only fair it's just not the same under new owners.

This was always my favorite Chinese food! It closed last year and my family ,friends ,and I never found any food the same. It was so disappointing, we also were not sure if it was going to reopen. The food is still the same fresh and tasty! We are all running there for our lunch and dinners and so is... More

I routinely eat here when on business in Wakefield. The takeout service is so fast, I usually don't order ahead. It is ready before I am done checking my email! Surprisingly, rice is not included with most meals, so make sure you ask for it if you want it (I'm a noodle guy, but my wife likes it). It is... More

My family and I have been eating at Royal Garden for over 20 years. We have never been dissatified the food is always fresh. However, the bluiding is run down and they should move and find a close by.
