This is a great place to have BBQ, period. The reason I gave it an average rating is because it is average for a good BBQ place. Yea, maybe I am a wanna be critic.... but I have experienced BBQ Nirvana. You know what I mean... think about the best BBQ you ever had..... Yup, there it is. You never... More

Tennessee's has great BBQ from the pulled pork to brisket, all of their offerings are terrific. We especially enjoy the cucumber side dish and usually double the order this when have two sides. The have wonderful sauces that you serve yourself in this 'rustic style' eatery. This restaurant has been here for a couple of decades and no wonder why it... More

I had a strange request to see the brisket because in New England I keep getting some weird non-brisket when I order brisket and am tired of it esp when I came from the south. I was given burnt ends and point cut, finally some actual flavor. The mac n cheese is the thinner style elbow mac but not overpowering.... More

After enjoying great seafood during a family vacation to Boston, Tennessee's BBQ was a great change up. The food was really good. Probably the BBQ I have ever tasted in the Northeast.

We shared the two meat platter and it was plenty of food. Delicious beef brisket!! Moist and flavorful and did not need sauce although we tried their various types. Watermelon was sweet and sweet corn was delicious. Mac n cheese was good but not as delicious as meat.

I have to write this one up, and it's not going to be pleasant. I call the restaurant and ask specifically --- Do you sell "Burnt Ends" For folks who don't know Burnt Ends are flavorful pieces of meat cut from the point half of a smoked brisket. A traditional part of Kansas City barbecue, burnt ends are considered a... More

When coming back from Boston heading home, I try and stop in . Most times the traffic is just too heavy and I do not turn off. I particularly love their brisket and my wife loves their pulled pork. Their beef ribs and Memphis style ribs are superb. Great selection of sides. I especially like the cucumber salad, dirty rice... More

A few years back, a friend and I were on a little kick trying to find the best BBQ place in the entire Boston area, and we would make some fairly long treks with an eye on sampling various popular places. And yet not one of those places in my opinion really topped the ribs or the sides that you... More

Restaurant interior looked like a BBQ place should. Ribs very good. Pull pork also very good. Sauces were excellent. Well worth the try if you are in Peabody. I will visit again when in area.

Sunday afternoon. 40 people. Ordered 40 meals (way too much), Baby back ribs - great; Pulled pork - great; brisket-very very good. Potato salad and slaw excellent. and cornbread also. They wrapped watermelon dessert in individual bags, great idea for serving and keeping fresh. Delivered on time, professional and friendly.
