Over the past five plus years we have tried Girly's a number of times. Having owned a small restaurant I really want to like it, but the ever changing help, chaotic atmosphere, and sketchy service just don't allow me to like it. Maybe it needs one more try.

My wife and I went here today for breakfast.. We were seated but never given menus... We noticed the young girl server flirting with a couple of young men at the counter.. Finally the young girl came by with menus apologizing because "the other woman always forgets" We were served coffee and the proceeded to wait for 15 minutes while... More

Like home cooking on the road? This is a small, somewhat gritty, working class, cottage-sized restaurant with from-scratch meals for locals. Its grittiness does not mean it is not clean (it is) but in winter, everyone keeps their coats to stay warm. A handful of booths for four and a rows of counter stools. The sense of humor in the... We love to come here for brunch. The food is cooked fresh to order - and you can basically get anything you want! If it's not on the menu they will make it for you. Love their Benny Bombs (their version of eggs Benedict) loaded with veggies and meats of your choice, the Portuguese French toast is amazing, and basically... More

The food was good and the staff were very nice. This is a small little restaurant that serves good food. I'm not sure that I would have gone there just by the looks of the building, but once inside we had a good experience. The patrons all seemed to be regulars which says a lot for the restaurant. We had... More

Hole in the wall to be sure, local flavor, food was tasty, try the home made grilled blueberry muffin. We stopped on our way to western NY. Fairly quick off the Palmer exit on MA Turnpike

Had a grilled bagel, my friend had loaded home fries. Broccoli, spinach, onions, red peppers and cheese. Not bad for only $4.50 Good coffee, nice waitresses, and of course the owner, she is a great cook. Try out this small place in Palmer for a good breakfast at a reasonable price.

Here in Western Mass. we have an embarrassing wealth of great breakfast places, which is why it took me a while to get to Girly's. The menu offers infinitely many make-your-own combination options - veggies, cheese, meats, sauces - as well as a list of imaginative specials (Reuben omelet!). All ingredients were fresh and most of the baking is done... More

I have driven past this diner for the past 3 years on my way to and from the Brimfield antiques shows without ever stopping. Due to a rain out today we had our chance. Score!! Great food--really great--and wonderful staff. I asked "Girly" (the owner) how long he'd been there and she said 3 years. I told her it was... More
