Met several friends at the Steaming Tender for lunch. Fun atmosphere, restaurant is located in an old train station. Great food and friendly service. We had baked scallops baked haddock, Reuben sandwich and fried pickles all were excellent. Plenty of parking available.

Lots of choices and decent food. Not my favorite place to go but that has more to do with how the owners handles me falling on ice in their parking lot years ago...the waitress was super concerned, the owners not so much.

There’s a lot to like about this restaurant. It’s housed in a large old train depot and family owned with a number of dishes that I think would be good on a normal weekend. Their waitstaffers were always smiling and never stopped moving... but... We...More

And the ambiance is delightful..........but sadly no trains went by when we were there. However, we had a wonderful dinner, after switching tables because of wobbles. The waitress was quit agreeable to the switch, then later fixed the wobbler so others could enjoy the window...More

Worth the visit for the gorgeous building, if nothing else. The wood and stone Victorian railroad station was designed by the world famous H H Richardson, who also designed the magnificent Trinity Church in Boston, amongst many others. The restaurant architecture - inside and out...More

They tasted very bad and it wasn't the sauce. There was no orange tinge, just bad taste. You should always avoid eating seafood that tastes "off" so you don't get food poisoning like some other guests at this restaurant.

I don't have one, but if I lived closer, I'd get one. It is such a great place to bring family for just a fun night out or for special occasions.
