Cottage Street (on Cottage Street) is the town of Orleans favorite spot for coffee and cake for breakfast or soup for lunch. Their cakes can be individualized and are delicious. Small rest stop in a small town.

Good selection of bakery items & sandwiches. The tart with fresh fruit was delicious. A must visit but double check hours. They are different depending on the season.

This is an absolutely lovely little tucked away nook in Orleans. A lovely little cottage style house. We visit every time we're on the Cape. The smells and aromas of the place reminds one of a simpler time akin to a visit to Grandma's place as a child. The fresh smell of baked goods draw you in and its simple... More

The Cottage Street Bakery was a very short walk from The Cove Motel. It was a brisk Saturday morning with hints of fall in the air, one of those mornings when you just have to have a a hot cup of coffee and a frsh oven warmed muffin. Of course for this time of year pumpkin muffin was the choice... More

We were told about this little bakery and it was on point. Great service, great fresh pastries. I got a box of mixed muffins the fist time. I suggest the "dirt bag" for cinnamon lovers.

This is a lovely little bakery that is very popular because everything they make is great. They are most famous for their "dirt bombs,' which are essentially large, baked muffins covered in a cinnamon/nutmeg coating. They are as cinnamon-y as a good apple cider donut but they are baked, not fried (doesn't that make it a health food?). They are... More

I headed to the ice cream place next door, but this little cottage looked interesting.. Had that signature nutmeg muffin & a coffee. The muffin was excellent, and the coffee was "real". Excellent overall.

Met a friend for lunch today had a turkey sandwich on their homemade multigrain bread. It was excellent! They also have the best soups around. All the sweets are great with a good variety of muffins and the cakes are the best! You won't be disappointed with your visit here. Coffee and a treat....can't beat it!!
