Breakfast today was excellent. I had the eggs Benedict which was cooked perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was smooth and delicious. Very tasty meal. We also had the Greek omelet which featured fresh spinach and feta which was very tasty. Service was fast. The ice...coffee was the real deal and tasted great. First time here and we will be back for sure.More

Easy to find and easy parking. We wanted something simple to have for lunch after walking at the National Seashore. This fit the bill. I had a delicious tuna salad sandwich which came with chips and huge pickle slices. My partner had a ham and...cheese croissant with curly fries. Mine was the better dish. The croissant was a bit greasy. It was tasty. I wanted to try their homemade donuts. Since it was the end of the day, they gave me 2 for the price of one. I chose an apple cider donut. It was very good and very cinnamony and crunchy on the outside.More

This was our first time here for a pre Valentine’s Day lunch. We had *PattyMelt /Fries/ Latte & Eggs Benedict /Potatoes Reasonably priced ….All were good but the meal was ruined by the serving of all items in styrofoam containers + individual plastic utensils wrapped in...napkins …OMG …We don’t know if this serving style is in operation during the season ( this was February) but this was totally unexpected & really gauche IMO .My review is based on our luncheon items being served in horrible to go containers …Food was good & counter staff very pleasant but we shall not return & we were surprised that other reviews did not mention this fatal flawMore

While both the coffee and the menu choices are excellent, eating a delicious omelet from a styrofoam container is a bummer. Not a deal breaker, rather a deterrent. Staff is great, food exceptional……we will return!

My wife & I had brunch at Hole In One today. Very disappointing. This restaurant has changed significantly and it is all bad. You order your meal at the counter before you sit down. Even though there were only a few customers in the restaurant,...the wait time was long. The food was not good. My breakfast sandwich reminded me of McDonalds for twice the price. My wife had the Fairway benedict on a bacon and scallion biscuit. Incredibly bland and very salty. The only positive we found were the people who worked there. They were extremely nice.More

This was an awesome find! Fresh made donuts and delicious breakfast. We had the traditional breakfast sandwich and it came on a brioche bun. It was great that it came with 2 eggs and filled the whole bun.

Been coming here since they opened. They are the best breakfast place around. Unfortunately, for the regulars and locals who come every morning before work have to deal with some of the crazy lines of tourists-some of whom are not so nice.

I totally agree with “Disappointing”. Two years into Covid, and not close to being back to normal. My story - I am a local, but hadn’t had a chance to have breakfast in Orleans since before Covid. We had that opportunity yesterday, and knew when...we drove up that it was different. Ordering at the counter was difficult as you have little or no time to review the menu as the line builds up behind you. The clerk wasn’t clear with questions/answers, but I did my best ordering. The total bill was $37 and change, I gave him $40 and told him to put the change in the tip jar. I figured that I’d work out a tip for the server later. We got a table and shortly thereafter 3 takeout containers were plunked down on the table. I got no silverware - sorry, plastic ware - and got up to find some. Then I noticed a bill taped to one container. It said $32 and change, yet I was quoted $37 to pay - ????? Had he added a tip and didn’t say anything? The food was fine, but we will definitely not go back. I am quite sure that this process is due to help/hiring. I totally understand what Cape businesses have had to deal with for staffing, but this system is not good at all. There were 2 guys and one woman walking around cleaning tables and delivering food - could they deliver food on real plates with real silverware? They definitely do a big takeout business, but the seating area isn’t all that huge and some sense of a regular restaurant would be great. I also feel ripped off by the order taker. I’ll be eating at the many other places that are clear with what I am paying and can serve me at a table - sorry, you’ve been an institution in Orleans for a long time.More

Stopped one day on our trip, and got some stuffed croissants and doughnuts, which made for a good and quick breakfast. Nice seating area outside! They had some really decadent-looking things on their breakfast menu, but we were in a hurry ... so we'll just...have to go back next time in Orleans!!More

I was looking forward to a return trip to Hole in One. I have been there several times before (pre-COVID) and was always happy with my experience whether it was for breakfast or lunch. This visit was quite different. First, the whole ordering experience was...odd. Even though we are more than two years out from the start of the pandemic, it appears that Hole In One has not emerged much. Ordering is done at the register in the front. I was then directed to go find a table. On your way you can pick up plasticware, napkins, condiments, water, etc. The problem started when what I ordered was not what the cashier put in for my order. In fact, when she started to question me on how I wanted certain things in my order, I went back to the menu to check again to make sure I had was getting what I wanted. Still, that managed to not be the case. Since I didn’t get what I went there for, I will rate the food I got in the order that I actually received. To start, the presentation was unattractive in the takeout container. It contained two small potato pancakes, two fried eggs and about four pieces of bacon half of which was overcooked. The bacon also appeared to have been sitting around for a while. It also came with a packet of sour cream. The potato pancakes were disappointing. In hindsight, I should have questioned the cashier more when the things she was asking me didn’t make sense with what I thought that I was ordering. But, even then I’m not confident that the quality of the food would have been much better. That’s too bad as I’ve had many good meals there in the past. Maybe it was just an off day and once the summer season starts (and hopefully the experience of eating there becomes more like it was pre-COVID) it will be better. I know it can be so much better than my experience was.More

You get a lot of donut for your money—these are big (yeast and cake both). Pumpkin was very lightly spiced so it was disappointing as a “pumpkin” donut. Oddly enough, the flavor got better on one that we didn’t eat until the next day. The...risen style is more dense than we expected—almost cake-like but the flavor of the glazed donut is quite good—lots of good dough flavor and great icing. The sour creme donut was disappointing as we felt it needed much more sour cream flavor. The service was great. There was a covered area for eating outside in the parking lot which was nice for keeping our distance but the view was poor. But there are a few chairs in the front that have a better view.More

I reviewed this restaurant in 2017 and gave it a good review. We visited again and it was not a good experience. You are given a paper menu and then order from a person at the counter. The person rushed us and was not very...pleasant. The breakfast comes out in styrofoam container and was not very good. Other restaurants are serving the food in real dishes. I ordered eggs and home fries. The home fries are not real but french fries in disguise. Only good food was the toast seemed liked it was homemade. Bottled water only comes in a cardboard box.More

Went to the Fairway on a Saturday morning to grab a Bloody Mary. There was a wait at the restaurant and the bakery had a long line out the door. People said all of their food was great. We sat at the bar and had...a fantastic Bloody Mary- it had the right amount of spice and plenty of horseradish. Service was great and friendly and the surroundings were pleasant as well. Will definitely go back the next time I visit.More
