We went to Captain Linnell's on a Friday evening; it's almost impossible to get a reservation for Saturday evening because they cater so many weddings. Even on Friday night, there were three major events going on. We felt a little underdressed walking in among the suits and cocktail dresses, but found that the dining room was resort-casual. The restaurant itself... More

First time at the Captain Linnell House but it will not be the last. Beautiful atmosphere and our server Stephanie was wonderful. The Prix Fixe menu for was a hit for all 6 members of our party. 4 of us raved about the prime rib and the duck was not great but satisfactory for the others. Good martinis and desserts... More

This place is rated number one, as it truly should be. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our evening - the setting, the service , and the food . I must mention Stephanie our waitress . A true professional . My swordfish steak was an inch thick while my wife's halibut was even thicker. Everything was perfect .... More

We enjoyed a great dinner at Captain Linnell's BUT with some really unexpected surprises. Several of us ordered the prime ribs. What was delivered to our table was a major shock: a beautifully prepared prime rib that, in area, was very large BUT in thickness was at least 2 inches. We've seen such a large serving (even in Texas!)! The... More

A prix fixe menu is offered except at the height of the season. It has a good number of choices and the food is excellent. The servings are more than ample -- it's hard to save room for dessert -- but the dessert menu is just too tempting to ignore. Try to reserve your table in one of the smaller... More

Our last restaurant pick during Restaurant week and have to say this is an 4 star restaurant. Ordered the prime rib which was tender and cooked to perfection. The creme brûlée was delicious the only thing that took away was the sugar tasted a little burnt. Amazing restaurant which should be on your to do list.

We made a last minute reservation during Restaurant Week. We were thrilled to be seated in a quiet corner by the fire. Dinner was amazing! We both ordered prime rib. It was cooked to perfection, along with all the side items. Dining here should definitely be on your "to do" list.

First class all the way! The building is charming, the service terrific and the food is fabulous. The seafood is the freshest on Cape Cod, and is prepared to perfection by the chef with flavors that just melt in your mouth with every bite. The waitress as busy as I could see that she was was as pleasant and calm... More

My husband and I enjoyed the wonderful service, ambiance and food offered at the Captain Linnell House. Along with 27 of our closest family members, we came to the restaurant for our wedding dinner, after having the ceremony at a nearby house. We had such a wonderful time and look forward to coming back for anniversary visits! There were a... More
