Lost dog Orleans is in an old Howard Johnson's restaurant with the original photos hanging on the wall to prove it. I like the atmosphere here better than the Dennis location. People from around town often stop in after work for dinner and drinks at the bar/tables and mix in with the tourists. They play games on tv and have... More

The used to be a Howard Johnsons many years ago, in fact, it was the first HoJos. Bit of history. decent local/american cuisine, sometimes some interesting dishes. chowder OK, good boneless chicken appetizers with 3 or 4 sauce options and the portions are large. clientele is locals and tourists. overall good comfort food in a pleasant atmosphere with good staff... This is a cute place, very casual, and the fish was excellent. I had a salmon sandwich which was superb! bought a couple of pub wineglasses as gifts (but I might keep them).

We had awesome drinks on Saturday night (6/18/16) Exceptional bartenders. Service was great. I had an excellent martini and my wife had an excellent cosmo. The pizza was great. Bartenders were exceptional. We went back the next night for drinks after dinner. Fair drinks. Disappointed.

We stopped at the Lost Dog as part of a shopping trip to Orleans. We've dined there with some regularity and never had a bad meal. We both enjoyed the fish and chips - I had the sweet potato fries while my wife had the onion rings. We enjoyed a lovely meal with the locals, had good service, and didn't... More

We came to the cape and it was raining so we decided to get a couple drinks. The place was updated and everyone was friendly. It appeared to be a local spot. Drinks were reasonable and the pizza was delicious.

Cape Cod can be challenging in season which keeps people looking for a place to eat but there is simply nothing on this menu that would really let you know you were even on Cape Cod if you were served the food without seeing the menu first .
