We ordered the clambake to go. It was fantastic! Big lobsters, huge clams and mussels. Plus potatoes and chorizo sausage. Already cooked and cracked. All we had to do was eat and clean up the aftermath.

After a satisfying paddle, we stopped in for fish to grill for dinner. But the woman ahead of us in line was taking her time to select JUST the right lobsters, and after 10 minutes we gave up. The fish looked totally fresh and reasonably...priced, but all the other employees were busy getting things ready for the later rush. We left in the end, but we'll try at a better time next week.More

The flyer for Orleans Seafoods states "Special Orders No Problem," but that's not been my experience. I placed two special orders this summer, both with dire results. The first one took me five days to get through to the owner to have a direct conversation...with him about my special order (this included a trip to the shop itself). After I placed the order with him and gave him a date a week away, I got a call the next day from the shop saying my order was ready. I called to tell them they got the date wrong and gave them the correct day. The next day I got another call saying my order was ready. At that point, I gave up and went somewhere else. Last week, I tried the shop again, and went into the shop to place a special order. Nothing was available that day, but the employee on duty suggested I come back the next day and he would be sure to have the item ready for me to pick up. I asked him for the phone number so I could call to make sure he had the item ready, so he gave me the flyer. I called multiple times the next day, but got no live answer, so I drove over, hoping he would follow through on his promise. When I arrived, I was told by both the employee and his surly boss that nothing was available for pick-up. The surly one even disputed my phone calls (even though I showed him my cellphone record) by saying that they've been picking up the phone all day. So, my advice is to stay away from Orleans Seafoods if you're thinking of placing an advance order. You may be in for a disappointment if you do so.More

Our group ordered Lobster dinners to go. Dinners included steamers, mussels, linguica, potatoes, corn, butter, broth and utensils. Great meal. Cooked and ready to go. Too much food for me. Two meals easily for a small person like me. The owners were very accommodating and friendly....Clam chowder, baked beans or cole slaw were available. Fresh fish was displayed if you wished fish instead. Perfect dinner to sit and celebrate with friends.More
