My son forces us to eat at Sharky's every year on our day trip to the Vineyard. It is one of the meals that has been consistently average. Unlike 90% of Mexican restaurants that provide free chips and salsa - you get charged for them here. This year we got the queso as an appetizer and my son said it... More

"Bit by the Review" :) We are disappointed that you did not enjoy your meal. Hundreds of thousand of people a year enjoy our enchiladas, queso, beans and burritos and we wish you were one of them. Our table feedback has been fantastic and we thank you for giving us a try. Our amazing staff does their absolute best to... More

This was a very popular restaurant. We went to the smaller one in Oak Bluffs and then the big one like a steakhouse in Edgartown. The Oak Bluffs spot was better because they serve food until 12 midnight or 1:00 am. We ordered take out from the one in Edgartown and they forgot our sauces for the wings!

The margaritas are delicious, and the bartender was happy to make minor adjustments when I asked. We only had Chips, Salsa and Guacamole for food... but the Salsa (pico de gallo style) was absolutely delicious! The service was great and the bartender was awesome; you can tell he likes his job!

My family and I were here the other day and must admit we had a great meal. As advertised the food was good, drinks were strong and the place was hoping with dinners. We were pleased with what they offered.

We wanted a quick meal somewhere family friendly which Sharky's is, but the food is just too "Fast"... It's too mass produced, salty and oily... They must have quite a few deep fat friers and use them regularly... The portion sizes are enormous and our kids wondered what happened to the waste food returning to the kitchens.. Decidedly average....

The portions at Sharkys are so big, don't bother ordering an appetizer. There is a reason why this place is so busy. It's also open late at night too.

This place is so busy, you'd think the food was awesome. You'd be so, so wrong. We were looking forward to some good Mexican food and we were entirely let down. The Chimichangas were doughy and tasteless and the Margaritas were tiny. The bartender actually came over to the table to tell us the place was so noisy we would... More

Sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience, but the reason we are so busy is that many others enjoy our food, drinks and value. Our margaritas are bigger than most and served in pint glasses and the chimichanga is a fried burrito, so there is some dough flavor associated with the tortilla I imagine but it is... More

We always stop in at sharky's every year when we go to the vineyard. The one in oak bluffs isn't very big so waiting for a table is a probable, but the wait is worth it.Very good selection on the menu, all the food we have had has been great.Would definitely recommend this restaurant on your next visit to the island.

I found the salsa to be great. It is homemade, l asked. Although they do charge for the salsa and chips ($2.99) they give you plenty. I had a steak burrito witch came with rice and baens (black or refried). It was large enough to bring 1/2 home with me. I was on the island for 7 days and ate... More
