The Lookout offers a varied menu, friendly staff, great food and fabulous ocean views. Prices are reasonable making it family friendly! They also offer great craft brews, a decent wine selection and fabulous cocktails. Didn't have the Bloody Mary, but the one that went by our table looked done right!

The Lookout is a great spot to go grab a drink with friends, or to have a nice meal. Expect it to be really busy and packed during peak season, where the wait can be up to or over an hour! They serve great food and you might be able to see a bit of the water, if you can... More

Was told to try this restaurant by our tour leader. It was right across the street from the Steamship Authority dock which made it easy to walk to. They view was beautiful as it overlooks the ocean. We had a table outside. We were worried that it would be too hot to sit outside, but the table was covered by... More

Had dinner outside at one of the picnic tables. Wait staff were great. Table was ready in less than 10 min on a busy Sunday evening. Food was so-so. Fish sandwich roll was good, necessary to absorb overly greasy fish. Fish tacos were good with light spice. Okay meal overall.

This place was a repeat on our short three-day vacation. It was very busy all the time, but service was excellent and the food -- the sautéed lobster roll was AMAZING!

Excellent food and location overlooking the ocean. Grab a seat on the porch along the rail if you can. Rated best sushi on the island and it was ver fresh! Great drinks too

First thing I found out - there are 2 types of lobster rolls on Martha's Vineyard. There is the lobster salad roll with mayo then there is a hot lobster roll with lobster sautéed in butter. Yum. Lookout Tavern was my favorite for a hot lobster roll, I never got around to eating the lobster salad roll after my initial... More

Food was great but the atmosphere was crowded and extremely loud. Practically had to shout to converse over dinner. Table was cramped.

Everyone says that Larsons has the best Lobster Roll on MV... and they are almost right. The lobster may be right off the boat and thereby fresher at Larsons, but Lookout Tavern's lobster is equally tasty and they serve their warm lobster rolls in a better roll (rather than just a slice of bread). Drawn butter on the side. Absolutely... More

Hopping bar scene and great grub. Buffalo chicken baked potato was the bomb. Great location overlooking the water.
