Where do I start guys?! The atmosphere, reception, service and the food are what I imagine heaven looks like. It is the type of restaurant where you really want to stop eating but when the restaurant owner Maurice (who feels like your dad - in...a good way) comes over your table and asks "how is everything" you just can´t stop grinning. The falafel is so soft and the hummus and meat are amazing.
Don´t skip the desserts, even if your stomach can´t hold anymore food, you´ll thank me later!More
I went here after 13 years. The ambience is good as always. The belly dance was really good and something you can enjoy with your family as well. The restaurant was crowded; and that is where they lost their way. My booking was at 8PM...today. There was nobody at the front desk to take us in. We had to go fetch somebody to get us in after about 10-15 minutes. We got our bread and turnip after almost 15-20 minutes. The food ordered was good. Too pricey. Servings were large. We asked for non-aloholic beer and they did not have it. We asked for hot sauce and that arrived after we finished our dinner. Scotty(if I remember his name right) told me he'll get me some sauce to go. That never happened. All in all, we should've been out of there in abotu 45-50 minutes, we could leave there by 9:20 or 9:30 only.More
We took an elderly relative for lunch though she knew nothing about Lebanese food. She proclaimed the vegetable soup and lamb chops wonderful. The mixed meze platter was huge and enough for lunch for two. The falafel was the lightest and tastiest I have ever...had. The waiter couldn't have been nicer or more attentive--he spent considerable effort figuring out just how pink the chops should be. This looks like a great place for a big party -- a pleasant room, with roses and pine sprigs in vases.More
We chose this restaurant to have my wife’s birthday party for 30 people. This is a Middle Eastern restaurant. The food is incredible. The service was wonderful. They gave us a private room From 12:30 pm to almost 5 PM. The owner Maurice was very...attentive and actually personally assisted my elderly dad into the car.More
I have been going to Byblos restaurant for a while now , and I have never been disappointed. If you want authentic Lebanese , middle Eastern food , it is the right place. Their 2 to 4 people meza platter is out of this world.Finish it...with a nice desert. You cannot go wrong.More
My wife and I have been going to Byblos for at least 10 years and seriously only once did we have a complaint. The bread wasn"t fresh. Other than that we, and more important our friends, always leave delighted with the food. Most say it...is the best middle eastern food they have ever had. What amazes us is the level of quality control visit after visit, year after year.More
I have friends from lebanon and we visited in September.
Conversation across the table was impossible due to so loud music, and all local music, and for two hours it sounded the same.... Got to where we left, even my friends they could not stand...the music in the end. The music took over everything.
The food.... Same spices and flavors in the chicken, the bread, the beef, the salad. That was a little disappointing. The Tabouleh was good though. Some kind of parsley salad. The only thing that stood out flavor wise. So that’s what I ate...
There are better and cheaper places, with room for conversation and good time, serving Middle Eastern food.More
