The food here was good and the price was less than I expected for the atmosphere. We sat by a big window and watched the world go by. There was a line a Jakes but no line here so we were seated quickly and our food was very good and served quickly.

Wonderful buffet brunch with breakfast and lunch items, salad table, fabulous dessert table. The setting is lovely- warm, cozy Olde New England tavern and beautiful hotel with a very nice sun porch.

Wiggins is my favorite bar in the area. Quieter, often less busy. It seems to attract a more mature clientele than many other taverns. The small intimate bar has been the place for interesting conversations with the bartender or other customers. The fireplace is a wonderful place to sit near on a cold night. The dinner menu has no big... More

I went here on the recommendation of a friend. I was looking for a quiet place to have a drink with a friend that didn't feel bar-like. This was perfect. Though the comfy seats by the fire were occupied, my friend and I grabbed a table just behind them with a nice view of the roaring fireplace and I had... More

Total disaster. Food was bad, like real bad. Had the scallops entree with crab risotto. Scallops were hilariously over-salted and and overcooked. The crab risotto was a consistency completely foreign to most western food, somehow rubbery and mushy at the same time. Taste wasn't good either. Service was ATROCIOUS. It was a relatively slow night, and multiple bartenders were working,... More

I love to go here in the winter and sit by the fireplace with a glass of wine. Often it's not crowded. My friend and I went here for dinner last week, though, and it was a disappointment. The salads were fine, but our drinks were served with flat ginger ale and nearly-flat tonic water. I was brought rice instead... More

Very nice and quaint tavern. Good for dessert and a coffee after dinner. Nice surroundings and great staff.

New to town our family of four decided to celebrate my birthday in downtown NoHo at the historical Wiggins Tavern. We made a reservation a week in advance, but were able to move the time time up on the day of due to little ones being antsy. We found parking at a meter close by to the Northampton Hotel and... I was looking forward to dining at Wiggins Tavern because I heard rave reviews from my son. Unfortunately, my experience was not a good one. When I called to set up 6:00 p.m. reservations early in the day, I was told only 5:00 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. was available. When my husband and I arrived at 5:00 p.m., only one... More
