Had dinner here last weekend and we were glad we had made reservations as the place was packed! A friend and I both had wonderful vegetarian dinners, although I have loved their seafood selections on previous visits. The tempura is light and airy, the noodle...dishes are hearty and delicious. Brian was our server and he was attentive and knowledgeable. So grateful to have this excellent restaurant in our bustling little town!More

My wife and I took a short weekend getaway, and made reservations based on their nicely presented webpage and the crowds we saw dining here. The good: my fish and chips (actually, I substituted in onion rings) and my wife's tempura shrimp were very good....The garden salads were fresh, although the gorgonzola dressing was less pungent than I hoped for. Also, I'd say the prices were very reasonable. The so-so: the herb focaccia was basically soft bread, nothing like focaccia. The bad: the fish chowder (which was both on the regular menu and listed as a special) tasted like nothing, just flour mixed in water and tasteless lumps of stuff thrown in. We mentioned this politely to our waiter when he inquired about our meal, then he simply asked us again at the end of our meal 'how was everything?' I guess feedback is not valued or even acknowledged. In any case, despite the positives, I'll look for someplace else to eat next time I'm in Northampton.More

Originally recommended by friends, then I found it on Trip Advisor. Delicious food, be aware that it's a really small space. I can definitely see adding this to the list of places to go when I visit my kid at school.

If you haven't dined here, what are you waiting for? Fish and Vegetarian menu that is absolutely fine dining. A treasure that has passed down a generation to Northampton's benefit. I have dined here often and never been disappointed. TIP: Best seats are at the...windows if you can get themMore

We had a fabulous meal here while out visiting our daughter at college. They must have people running out to pick vegetables from the field after you order. Everyone enjoyed dinner. I had the pho with tempura on the side and everyone else went vegetarian....Portions are a healthy size and service is humble and good! No complaints from this picky crew.More

This was our first time here. We were with friends visiting from the west coast, one of which is a vegetarian. I had the cod scampi style. I am very picky on how my fish is cooked. The cod was just the way I like,...moist and flaky. My husband had the Guatemalan-Style Shrimp Sauté. He enjoyed it but there was no distinctive spices. The Indian pudding was good but not the best I have had. The service was very good.More

We felt spoiled by all the vegetarian options. We shared the hummus appetizer plate, but asked that they leave off the bread. She brought the plate and they had added more veggies in place of the bread, which was thoughtful. My friend had the sea...vegetable salad with salmon and I had the seitan with broccoli and brown rice. Everything was hot, fresh, nutritious, and absolutely delicious! Great food with a nice selection of yummy wines made for a perfect evening. Next time in NoHo, we'll come straight here!!More

I made reservations off the website but I wasn't recognized when we arrived at the specified time. I guess they don't pay much attention to it. While on the website I saw the menu and was pleased to see so many creative vegetarian entrees. My...wife and I had a nice glass of wine, the appetizers, a great dinner and the dessert. Lived up to its billing for sure. The Peach Blueberry Pie was to die for. I really missed having a linen napkin - even though I didn't need the linen tablecloth. Just a thought.More

I wish that every college town could clone Paul and Elizabeth's! Returning from a distance after years of living much closer, I find that the menu remains largely the same as decades ago, and yet it continues to be delightful and satisfying, even mysteriously surprising...and fresh. The food is healthy, and there is something for everyone. Elders and children, single diners and large parties all seemed to feel at home in the setting with the food choices. The fish lunch is a classic, and I could eat it every day and not grow bored. I wish I did not have to drive more than three hours to get there- otherwise i would be a regular customer again!More

Sad to say it ranks poor overall. The food is boring and my scallops were covered in a sickeningly sweet teriyaki sauce. Presentation is a 1. I was overcharged. The menu price said $18.00. I was charged $21. My waitress clearly said it included a...side salad, so unsure of the add on price. The service is spotty. My waitress never checked back until 10 minutes after I had tried to remove the sauce myself. I also take issue feeling disrespected. I was at a tiny table for 1. I had placed a to go order with my dinner order and my waitress placed a huge full size grocery bag on my table obstructing my view of anything other than the bag. I had to get up and move it, fold it over and place it below eye level. I called to complain, the manger said she couldn’t hear me that I needed to go to a quieter area. I was in a room with absolutely no noise or background noise. Asked her to call me back. I left my phone number and have yet to hear back. This is a truly unremarkable place with indifferent staff.
