We went to Montano's Restaurant in October 2016. We tried the ricotta gnocchi with sausage—literally the best gnocchi I've ever had...light, pillowy, fresh...and also the pappardelle with wild boar. Generous portions made for leftovers the next day, which were just as good as the first time! Reasonably priced, convenient location, welcoming staff...Montano's is a winner!

This is a must try when in the Truro/Provincetown area! Great Italian food, home made pastas and extensive wine list. Lobster with grilled corn and homemade papardelle should be added to their menu as it only offered as a special on certain days, out of this world!

The food was amazing and mid range priced. We sat at the bar and ate dinner while watching the red sox. The bartender was wonderful and the food was delicious.

Montano's was recommended to us by our hotel manager. It was conveniently located near our hotel. We missed their early bird seating so we had about a 15 minute wait on a Saturday evening at 7 pm. although it is a large restaurant and tables were available. The pros: the entrées were good. The homemade pasta was good, but I've... More

Some of the best Italian in town. There early bird specials before 6 are a bargain. The food is delicious and I have to visit every time I'm in town. It is worth the drive from anywhere in the upper cape.

We try to get to the Outer Cape at least once a year, and whenever we do, we make it a point to stop at Montano's. They have authentic Italian cuisine with ample portions. If you make it in time for the early bird specials, it's an even better value. This year, my wife had the prime rib--she claimed it... More

We come to Truro twice a year for a week each time. We make sure one night's dinner is Montano's Pizza to go and then one night dinner there. This time Our meals were Chicken Marsala and Chicken Parmesan. The pic is the chicken Parmesan. My boyfriend has a hearty appetite and the meals fill him along with their awesome... More

We have been going to the Cape for many years and always drove by Montano's with no interest to try it. This weekend, after craving Italian, we decided to give it a try. We were seated at a cozy table in the back. Our waitress was great and didn't rush us at all. Our dinners were wonderful. I had the... More

28 years later, Chef/Owner Bob Montano is still dedicated to creating an authentic slice of Italy in North Truro. Chef Montano, a graduate of Johnson and Wales University, prides himself on house-made cuisine. All pasta is made in-house and is cooked to order. The tomato sauce that tops the pasta, also house-made. Montano's features traditional Italian favorites, such as Chicken Parmigiana, Fettuccine Alfredo and Fried Calamari. In addition to these, the menu offers regional Italian favorites, such as Bucatini All'Amatriciana, a favorite from Amatrice, and Wild Boar Ragu, a favorite from Tuscany. The menu is rounded out by fresh caught local seafood and Certified Angus Beef steaks. Conveniently located just a few miles from Provincetown's Commercial Street, stop in on your way into or out of town.Montano's, a year-round restaurant, opens nightly at 4:30. Come sit in the dining room or relax and have your dinner in the bar room. See you there!
