This is a small order at the counter restaurant with great food. They serve beer and wine only along with great salads, pizza, calzones, and meals.We shared a Greek salad that was very good. The meals we had were: chicken parmagiano with pasta, pasta bolognese, veal parmagiana, and steak tips with rice and vegetables. All meals were delicious. They also do a great take out and catering business!

Let me start off by saying that I have been to Mario's many times. I enjoy the meatball sub, pizza and the family meals are great. Ordered for pickup on New Year's eve. When I got there at the time specified, I was told it wasn't ready. Come back in a half hour or we can deliver. ok, not the ideal situation, but what can I do. I paid for my order and it was almost $50 more than what I expected, based on the online catering menu prices. When I questioned the cashier, she said yah, prices have gone up a little. $50 is more than a little, but what can I do, I need the food. When I went back to pick up, the cook or maybe the owner, was truly apologetic about the delay. When I got the food home, some of the calzones were burnt on the bottom. All I could smell when I removed the cover was burnt food. Very unappetizing. The meatballs were stone cold. Never expected that. I'll chalk it up to being very busy on NYE, but doubt I will order from them again. Word of advise - update your online prices. It's still showing the old prices.

We order take out from here every week, usually pizza and wings, and sometimes pasta dishes, soup and salad. All of our orders are made with fresh ingredients and made to perfection. The chicken tortellini soup is amazing. I cannot say enough about Mario’s… just try it for yourself!

This isn’t my first visit but will definitely be my last. I ordered a pizza and salad - pizza a little crispy and garden salad with balsamic. The pizza was not only burnt, it was cold and the salad had Italian dressing, smothered in onions. Although you can add instructions on the website, it didn’t appear an option to remove and item. As I see that management has not responded to the other negative reviews; it’s apparent they don’t care about service and pleasing customers. I’ll take my business to Bill’s or Corfinio’s which are far more superior!

Ordered take out from here, online it says $8,99 plus chicken side $4. When we have to pay turns out to be $42 plus change.
When I call, they say it’s not updated, to go online for another menu to another website of Mario’s Trattoria.
I speak to someone else about it and he didn’t even intend to honor a price which they are at fault for not updating. There are managers who solve situations, and managers who just don’t care about businesses. So, I paid $21 plus change per salad for the one you see in the picture. 🤡

Managing a food service business presents its own set of challenges, requiring consistent efforts to meet customer expectations day in and day out. The goal is to establish the business as a reliable and cherished establishment in the eyes of its patrons. However, in the case of Mario's in Eaton over the past two months, this standard has not been maintained; quite the opposite.
Firstly, there was a mishap with a margarita pizza order, arriving home without the expected cheese--strike one. Following that, with the Allan Panna with no ham, which it was supposed to contain--Strike two. Lastly, the Seafood Fra Diavolo order included mussels, but all except one were unopened--strike three.
To find a resolution, I reached out to the manager that evening to convey my concerns regarding the unopened mussels. To my astonishment, his response was rather unexpected: "Oh, yours was the order that I superglued them." Perplexed, I sought clarification by asking if he was joking. Much to my disbelief, he confirmed that, indeed, he had superglued the mussels. (Certainly not a matter to be joking about.)
Addressing the community, I feel compelled to inform you that a food service establishment accumulating three strikes and responding in such a manner is one I will never patronize again. I share this experience with the group to underscore the importance of considering whether a business displaying such unprofessional behavior is deserving of your patronage.
If TripAdvisor permitted a zero-star rating, that's what I would have assigned.

This place can hold about 24 persons sitting down (a lot of take out); you order at the counter and they will bring you the food in a matter of 10 or 15 minutes. Great calzones, great pizza, excellent risotto and excellent calamari.

Because the inside dining area is small, we haven't dined in very often, although when we did the food was fabulous. We generally get our food to go. The eggplant is superb and so is the lasagna. The calzone's are my familys favorite. You can't go wrong here!

My family and I go to Mario's quite often. My wife loves the risotto, I love the veggie calzone and we all love the pizza. My granddaughter usually gets penne rigate with meatballs or pizza. Order at the counter and staff will serve. Prices are reasonable, considering that some other so-called Italian restaurants will charge triple for terrible food and service.

I have had lunch at this place multiple times. This place is not a sit down restaurant but it is a family owned business and the people are nice and friendly. I love their honest home made Italian food. Much better food than in some Americanized supposedly Italian restaurants.

The pizza is a must try. Dough/crust is one of the best around. The pasta dishes are good too. Plus the staff is very friendly.

A small Italian restaurant with delicious food. I love the sauce because it tastes great and doesn't cause senior reflux issues. They always have lunch specials that include a soup. I like the chicken parm or meatball sandwiches.

It’s been a while.
I thought they used to have more pre-prepared food for take out. Quite an extensive menu board for pastas, pizzas and calzones.
Bit of a sticker shock, but the calzones are basically a full size pizza dough stuffed with yummy fillings, and folded in half. A small is enough for two!
Good alternative to the traditional pizza spot in the village, but a bit pricey for the spartan fare.

We have been going to Mario’s since it opened and lately the food has been okay, but nothing to write home about. Besides that I think it’s a bit pricy for the area, $10. For a eggplant sub. Really? The ziti with broccoli and chicken was too oily.
