I have been going to Harrison’s for 25+ years, usually for lunch on workdays, but also on night/weekends occasionally. I have never had a bad experience or left there unsatisfied. Twelve years ago, I moved to Virginia and I have missed Harrison’s so much. Whenever...I come home for a visit, going for a roast beef sandwich and fries or onion rings is ALWAYS on my MUST DO list. I've been coming here for years every time we visit family in Massachusetts and Harrison's continues to serve up the best roast beef sandwich I've ever had. Tender roast beef smothered in that amazing sauce. There is often a line but well worth the wait.

Sure you can get pastrami,chicken or a fish sandwich, but for a straight up roast beef sandwich Harrison's never disappoints. From office workers to ditch diggers, get in line and order your RB with sauce, mayo, mustard, radish or pepper relish and cheese. Then take...a seat with your sandwich fries and drink in their no frills, but clean dining area. On the positive: fast service, a lot of meat in the sandwiches, and large portions of fries and onion rings at reasonable prices. I preferred the corned beef to the roast beef, primarily because I asked for bbq sauce with the roast beef and my...bun was too drenched with the sauce; but maybe that is the way most customers prefer it. The amounts of fries and onion rings are very generous and well worth the prices. When my relatives want a good sandwich quickly this is one of their go-to places. I would definitely order from here again.More
This roast beef is absolutely the best by far. I grew up thinking Kelly's down revere beach was the best,which it was until I tried Harrisons and...NOPE NOT EVEN CLOSE. Hands down Harrisons is ridiculously good. And the "krinkle cut" fries... made to perfection. YOU...WILL NEVER EAT A BETTER ROAST BEEF SANDWICH.... EVER.More
Nothing fancy, just good roast beef sandwiches. Ordering is easy and staff is friendly. Can get busy at lunch time but that's because the food is good.
I’m not a huge fan of their roast beef but I found a friend in their chicken cutlet sandwiches! They fried and have a great crunch to them when you bite into one. It’s incredibly moist and juicy and I can’t rave enough. The Onion...rings and French fries are great too! The fries are crinkle cut and fried perfectly. Again their roast beef is ok but I find they put a lot of sauce on them (which some people love).More
Look past the dated facade- the roast beef prepared to order is simply the best we’ve eaten.hot pepper relish and cheese definitely are a nice addition but not necessary. Onion rings and fries are plentiful- did I mention roast beef rocks!!!! The guy that works...the register where you place tour order looks intimidating but he knows his stuff- worth going ... every time your in town!More
Visited Harrison’s with my family. Their roast beef sandwiches are always delicious. My kids always enjoy their chicken fingers and fries. Will definitely be going back soon.
Harrison’s was a local hangout when visiting North Andover. Coming back, Harrison’s Roast Beef is the best I have ever had. Delicious food and great service. The menu does not have a lot of options, but everything on it is perfect.
Absolutely amazing roast beef sandwich!! Great medium rare meat on a nicely seasoned bun with the perfect amount of sauce and mayo 👌 makes all the difference to have a great staff too! Will definitely be back for more 😁
Absolutely, totally, unreservedly, the best Roast Beef sandwiches around....try it, you'll like it! My mom lives in North Andover and every time I visit, before I have even one home-cooked meal, I go here to feast on a large Roast Beef (be aware, the large...beef is on an onion roll...if you don't like them, ask for a large on a plain bun)More
