I found this place kind of stressful, chaotic and loud. It took far too long to be seated and there are too many people standing around in the poorly laid out restaurant. But, once finally seated, the service was quite good as was the food. Tip: go when you don't have to wait!

Free valet parking is a plus, service is top notch. Lots of good wines by the glass, we samples various menu items are didn't have one that we did not enjoy! Recommend the chicken gnocchi especially.

Service was spot on and the food was presented well. The flavors were excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant. However, since they do not take reservations, plan on a 30 minute wait at dinner hours on weekends.

Family had dinner with a dozen friends. They wouldn't seat us till everyone arrived, even though we had reservations and the table was all setup for us. We had to wait outside, blocking the entrance for 20 mins till the last person got there. The food was typical Italian, nothing great. The Veal Parm was multiple thin layers rather than... More

Recommended by a friend for good Italian food which is reasonably priced. It did not disappoint. My husband tried a classic, meatballs and linguine and I had a Chef special, scallops limoncello. Both were prepared perfectly & delicious. We will definitely be back again.

I suggested to a friend that it would be good if we could meet at this restaurant at 6;00 p.m., in order to not have to wait for a table. (This restaurant only takes reservations for 6 or more). Within a half hour on a Thursday night there were many people waiting for a table. Often when I go to... More

For many in Newton, this is people's go to place for Italian. I think it is ok but not great. I don't think it warrants the long waits nor the prices. They have a decent gluten free menu.
