I stopped in to Sweet Tomatoes yesterday and had a slice of the day - BBQ. It was possibly one of the best slices of pizza I've ever had and I've been to New York. There was something about the sauce and the way the meat was smoked. Even their plain cheese slices are very good.

Went for an impulse buy as I was starving and you could smell their delicious pizza all the way from the other side of the street. Cheap slices and they are good to satisfy a craving. Price: Less than $5 Recommendation: Pepperoni with Mozzarella slice.

There are a few seats inside, but this is chiefly a take-out operation. The range of toppings, freshness, and prep are great.

It is probably a good thing that I live an hour away, because I'd eat nothing but this pizza. As a child, I lived on the pizza available in Queens in the 1950s and 1960s - heavenly! Sweet Tomatoes comes pretty darned close to the pizza of that time, and it is simply delicious.

This is always a reliable take-out choice, but somehow I keep thinking that I wanted something slightly different. I like the whole wheat crust and wish that it were more regularly available. The toppings are generously applied, and the staff maintains an upbeat spirit even when it gets really busy. Prices are a bit higher than necessary.

Have always loved the pizza here and look forward to stopping by if I'm in the area. Pizzas are fresh tasting and love the sauce. Friendly service, not a lot of space.

This is my favorite pizza place! It's nothing fancy, but it is so delicious! They serve by the slice too which is nice when you just want a quick meal and not a whole pizza. I wish I still lived down the road from it!

Sweet tomatoes still has my favorite pizza in the area. I recommend the pesto splash with eggplant. I don't typically like eggplant, but I love this pizza. They have good crusts, which are thin and crispy, and delicious toppings!

I read the Trip Advisor Reviews and the descriptions of the pizza sounded as if this pizza was a match for me. I like thin crust pizza and sweet sauce. The pizza did not let me down! The crust and sauce were some of the best I have ever had, The cheese was good too. I had sausage and pepperoni... More

Thin crust pizza with a variety of topping options. Simple. Not too doughy and good quality ingredients. Looks like they are now doing delivery.
