My wife and I keep driving by from our appointments in Boston, it's been too early, too late, but today was just right! So we were looking forward to eating hear everyone raved at how good the seafood was, so here we go.. I ordered the Spicey Fish and Chips and a St Pauly Girls non alcoholic Beer and a... More

Legal Seafood is an outstanding fish market and restaurant. Fresh fish is expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and served professionally. The selection of fish and choices of preparation (grilled, fried, baked, etc.) is excellent. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable. We have visited many times and have never been disappointed. The other locations seem to have the same good food and... More

Legal isn't a bad restaurant in the least. But you can get better seafood for the price. The best thing about legal is they are fairly consistent across the board. Their calm chowder is pretty good if your going to go (it's a New England thing)

Enjoyed a yummy lunch - crab cake sandwich and my sister enjoyed the Jasmine Special. She has a severe allergy to eggs, and they were very helpful and attentive to that. I always enjoy the delicious food Legal Seafood serves, no matter the location.

If you enjoy excellent ambiance and food, this is the place for you. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed with the food or service. During the dinner rush you may have to wait but it is worth it !

Great food reasonable prices you get what you pay for. The broiled or baked haddock or scrod are my favorite. Broiled scallops are great also. Portions are adequate and the setting and atmosphere are great. Very very clean restaurant and wait staff is superb. Every Legal Seafood is the same and have fresh and the best food. I remember their... More

I stopped in for lunch around 2pm on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant is in a shopping center with plenty of free parking. It was very busy but the staff was happy to seat walk-ins. The place is bright and welcoming and there is fresh seafood on display. I had a delicious Nicoise Salad at the bar that was fresh... More

I have been eating at restaurants in this chain since it first opened. Freshness has never been a problem, but the quality, consistency, and taste of the food is not what it once was. For the price, I expect better. Service is also inconsistent. This particular Legal Sea Foods used to be our favorite dinner and lunch spot when we... More

The fish is always fresh and we come here often. There are numerous Legal Seafood restaurants but we like the one in Natick because it is easy to park here. I always get the Jasmine special which is shrimp on rice (I get the brown rice) with cheese on top surrounded by broccoli. My husband ordered one of the daily... More

I have eaten here several times and never disappoints. The fish is fresh and good. It is somewhat pricey. Maybe for a special occasion. It is a treat. Their fish tacos are lovely. Everything is good. Boston fish house at its finest.

Description
The signature dish at Legal Sea Foods – really fresh fish. One of our first restaurants and still a popular lure, we are located on Route 9 in the Chestnut Hill Shopping Center. We are still keeping things fresh at our bar, our open dining room and in our take-out counter and Fish Market. Legal Sea Foods has long proven that a consistent, high quality dining experience never goes out of style. With over 40 varieties of fresh fish and shellfish available throughout the year as well as an award-winning wine list, there’s no doubt why legions of fans have fallen hook, line and sinker. We’ve received a boatload of accolades including “Most Popular Boston Restaurant” (Zagat, 2012/2013), “Best Seafood Restaurant” (Improper Bostonian, 2010), “Best Chowder” (Boston Magazine, 2010), “Best Seafood Restaurant” (Boston Phoenix, 2009) and the honor of serving our legendary New England Clam Chowder at every presidential inauguration since 1981.
