We visited here on a weekend evening after eating dinner in the area. Sweet Tart is a little hard to find, and we walked past it because the outside lighting was not very good. There was one employee, who was looking at his phone, and did not greet us or the other family that was there. Not much room to... More

We discovered this place by accident. We had decided to go for ice cream to JP Lick... well the line was a bit long and with a small child waiting can be difficult. As we turn around to go back the way we came from we see two kids walking by with Sweet Tart yogurt - we immediate asked where... More

They combine inventive flavors -- I had the mango -- with a wide variety of fresh toppings. And I do mean fresh--those raspberries had never seen the inside of a freezer. Plus they have that rarity of rarities in Newton, outdoor seating. I've tried other yogurt places and this one would be the tops.

We tried sweet tart on a Tuesday night. Ice cream was unimpressive and some was barely edible. Staff was unenthusiastic. Got Cabot's the next night and were much more impressed.

A very good, local, frozen yoghurt joint. Everyone that lives near has been and has returned. Yogurtland opened a location very near to Sweet Tarts and closed within a year. Nothing can beat the loyal clientele. The yoghurt is good, so are the toppings. The flavors rotate every week and they offer sorbets too. Priced by weight and you can... More

This place was really hot when it opened a few years back, but I guess the fad has started to weaken. Although the decor could probably stand a makeover, the selections are pretty good.

You can eat as much or as little as you like! They weigh your ice cream. I often just want a little bit, and feel bad ordering at a place that gives huge portions and I then have to throw half away. Here, if you want a lot, you get a lot, if you want a little you get a... More

The first frozen yogurt spot in Newton Center and independent, which I like versus the numerous franchises popping up around it. Numerous serve-yourself flavors and countless toppings including a wide array of fresh fruits. I really hope this place survives the arrival of Yogurtland just a few blocks away and PinkBerry a mile down the road.

Ten flavors plus a mix handle in the middle of each machine. Great, great yogurt. Love bringing my grandchildren here. Over 100 toppings, syrups, fruits and candies, and the lowest price anywhere. There's a sign on the wall to the effect that it's the only locally owned frozen yogurt store in Newton. All the more reason to support them instead... More
