Little more creative with sushi compared to most Japanese sushi houses. Enough beyond sushi to satisfy everyone. Service a little slow to start, but once food starting coming out, service was very good. Will be back.

Best sushi in the Boston metro! Very fresh. Soup, salad, mis bouch, & entree. Great service. Highly recommend!

Long wait, poor service, mediocre food. Over priced to boot. Not worth the wait or the price. You can do better at Oishi down the street or frankly at the sushi counter at Wegmans.

Not cheap, but always good. Service is fast, and I usually like trying new things. Nice menu with pictures in a tablet device, so you can be inspired by pics. Go to Sushiman to feed a group... Here for some specialties and a very nice atmosphere.

After a superb meal and service two weeks ago I was delighted to return to what I thought would be my favorite Japanese restaurant. My plan was to return a third time and make a video for my web site dining videos com. Instead we had a surly waiter who seemed anxious for us to go as soon as we... More

Posturing as high style, healthy dining, but just a third rate mall restaurant. The descriptions of dishes were tastier than the actual food. Service was slow

Enjoyed our meal here. They give you free Edamame to start which is a nice touch. Ordered a bunch of rolls and wine and the food and the service were divine. I would come back for sure. With tip came to $87.

The name is hard to pronounce, memorize, type into GPS, tell to people. The food is delicious and the service is on top of things. We tries lots of sushi rolls -- all very tasty -- and I had a chicken katsu as an entree. The menu is long and rich with different selections. Very impressed.

Daikanyama is an excellent Japanese and sushi restaurant located next door to Bloomingdales at the Chestnut Hill Mall. I like it because it is unpretentious, the menu is good and the service fast and competent. Food is excellent and space is comfortable -- I might even call it cozy. You wouldnt expect a cozy good sushi restaurant next to bloomingdales... More

A modern, comfortable atmosphere with superb Japanese food. A wide Friday of a friends on the menu. The sushi is fresh and ranges from traditional to innovative. I loved the sushi with foie gras- reminiscent of O Ya! they have a very large selection of sake, one of my favorites was the sparkling sake. Drinking entire bottle! I would definitely... More
