This was my first visit -- and also the first time i have ever gone to a restaurant on Thanksgiving. The restaurant was a visually pleasing place, and seemed very comfortable. The service was good, and I'd like to try another meal here sometime if the occasion presents itself. But turkey on Thanksgiving is not their forte. It was not... More

Great place to meet friends for dinner. Its not overly loud and so its condusive to conversation. If you are looking for a good variety in continental quisine, this place is a good choice. The bar menu has a nice selection if you are budget concious and can get your order in before 7p. Reservations are a good idea, especially... More

We have been to Newburyport so many times , I'm surprised I've never eaten here before. We ate at the bar and was surprised that they have a half off bar menu , I believe it's every day but Saturday and for certain hours, I believe 5-7. I liked the comfortable bar chairs. I had the sliders my husband had... More

from the mac and cheese to the chili, everything is really, really good! If I had to pick my favorite, it is the beef empanada.

A little pricey, but with a special price on petit filet mignon with boursin potatoes. Asparagus was amazing, shrimp cocktail was half price during happy hour, and they served the biggest scoop of a delicious vanilla ice cream. I asked for hot fudge and nuts, and they added candied pecans. The waitress was busy but still able to keep the... More

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner. The experience was top notch from the beginning. The server was wonderful, and answered all of our questions. She was attentive but also gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. The drinks we ordered were amazing - a dirty martini and a... We had a delicious meal, with fresh grilled chicken and burgers in an interesting space for a decent price. Service was decidedly distracted and uneventful. Go for the space, selfie your face off, and skidaddle.

As you drive down the street you notice the buildings are mostly big, old and charming. There is on-street parking on the side of the building and a lot shown the street, but that just gave us a chance to enjoy the historic area. The restaurant isn't stuffy like an old steak house can be, the open area adds a... More

My husband and I had a very nice meal at the Mission Oak Grill. We arrived on a night where the restaurant was very crowded, but we were still given a nice table and got good service. The meal was good, and I was pleased by the generous serving size of the glass of wine that I ordered.

Awesome dinner tonight at Mission Oak Grill & Steeple Hall both located in an historic former Baptist Church in a quaint seaport village. Great appetizers including tuna tartare, mac & cheese, Caesar salad, bursts $ New England clam chowder. Entrees included swordfish, scallops, filet mignonette, chicken scarparella etc. great wine & beer selections.
