Slightly off the beaten track - but well worth a visit! Excellent cappuccinos - and so flavoursome and just as they should be (one third espresso, one third milk - one third froth) why is it so difficult for many other coffee shops to get it wrong! The muffins were huge and very tasty - choc. chip and bran both... More

We met our daughter in Newburyport today to walk the Clipper Trail with her and her dogs, Foxi and Andrew! Plum Island Coffee Roasters lets you takes the dogs on the patio, so we gave them a try. Oh my! So many coffees, smoothies, teas, and bakery goods also. We chose chais and two gluten free ginger spiced cookies. The... More

Off the beaten track on the waterfront, this is the best cafe around! When you see locals go there daily, you know you have stumbled on something great!

Espresso drinks are serviceable--certainly far superior to Starmuck--but do not rate "world class." Pastries are also good nut not great, looking better than they really are. Place is very comfortable, offers wifi, and is filled with locals. Parking is a challenge.

The best coffee in town. Always smooth never bitter - and a terrific view. Outdoor seating right on the water- great in warm weather. Charming interior when it's cold. Atomic coffee in town is the hipster place -it's good but it is consistently bitter coffee. Starbucks in town is charming and is consistently Starbucks. Cafe Sienna nice but more bitter... More

We met a friend who had run there (6 miles) for coffee. The place was crowded, but two tables offered us a place to sit with them, which we did. I had a blueberry scone and a Sunrise Latte. Both very good.
